How well will this computer run other games also? Such as COD, Minecraft, Skyrim, Rust, H1Z1 (not sure if you know how H1Z1 will run the game not being out yet, but H1Z1 is run on the same engine of Planetside 2, Forgelight), etc. Hopefully this will be my last question, sorry for bothering you so much!

Alright, I searched up some parts (or maybe just the CPU, who knows?) and it sounds like it will do for a budget PC. And don't worry, I can deal with shit performance. I already gotta deal with very low 20 fps. Wait, just realized, what about the graphics card?

Also, how much would this build cost me? Including Windows 8.

Dammit. For right now my budget is $600 max, are you sure there's nothing I can do to run DayZ better within the $600 price range? If not, I'll probably go with this build (I doubt DayZ will run worse on this than on my current laptop), then I'll go upgrade it later this year

Can I expect medium settings 30 FPS? I ain't looking for anything high end, just something better than what I have now. Since DayZ is the main game I play, I'll have to go with something different if it can't do medium 30 FPS. Right now on my current laptop I'm going very low 20 FPS.

Hello, I'm gonna by a new computer soon for gaming. Now I want to stay cheap and upgrade in the future. All I want to do is run DayZ at default settings at about 60 FPS. I'm looking for something in the $600 range at most, can anyone help me? I don't know alot about computer parts and such, and my current laptop sucks.

You don't shoot a fresh spawn because they can barely do anything to you. All they have are fists. Unless they are trying to kill you, there is no point to shoot them. It's considered a nooby thing to kill freshies. If for some reason, the freshy power is too strong for you, try wearing a ballistic helmet.

I run on Intel HD 4000 graphics and I run the mod fine.

1. Lag is a huge issue in 2014. I don't know what world you live in, but it sounds pretty nice. 2. Melee combat is a little... dodgy.... Kinda gotta deal with it sadly.

In the recent update they made the zombies harder to kill (aim for the head).

I think this may be a bug and I'm not sure how to fix it. But to make your life easier when you do fix it, instead of spending an hour refueling your heli with jerry cans, land your heli near or on top of a gas station to refuel it in just a few seconds.

I don't like night in the standalone. In the mod, it's GREAT. Hell, I prefer night over day in the mod. In standalone? It's pitch fucking black. You can't see shit, it's like being blind. If they make night like it is in the mod, then I'll love night again, but until then, let's just say I won't be playing on any night servers.

What I like about the hunter pack is that it's smaller and if your in a gunfight with a mountain pack and someone is aiming for your head and miss, guess where it's going? Your backpack. Not much of an issue with the hunter pack.

They have multiple teams working on different things. The thing is, the community wants cars, or for now, at least a bike to settle us down. How about they get the dev team working on shirts to work on vehicles? WE DON'T NEED MORE CLOTHING OR FOOD. Not right now, I think vehicles should be number 1 on the priority list. The first time I went to cherno was in the mod. I crossed a small little street a few minutes after I got there, and I got sniped. Haven't been there since. You have to be very stealthy around the cherno area, at least in the mod. That's my only suggestion to you.

Dude, calm your tits. Just get a new computer. That's your only hope. If you can't run DayZ I doubt you can run any game. So no, your not paying $600 for one game. Your paying $600 for a ton of games. Save up your penny's and buy a new computer. Or just get a $500 laptop that runs the game at 20 fps on lowest settings, like me.
