Actually it is a military sim where people hunt people with assault rifles... you would know this if you ever played the MOD.

Snipers camp.... its kinda the nature of being a sniper. Most sniper sit and wait for hours... they dont run and gun like CoD.

The problem is there is no reason to go explore the rest of the map. With only 2 rifles and 2 pistols in the game there is no reward for running all over hell and back. You might love playing a running simulator but I know that I dont. All that this new spawn patch does is add an unnecessary time sink grind for no extra reward. Enjoy your running sim

No actually thats not why people dont like the new spawn system. Its because without vehicles it takes FOREVER to hook back up with your friends. Having the game be hard is one thing... adding an unneeded GRIND time sink is another. Running simulator is NOT fun

I fully support this. The new spawn points suck. Hopefully these guy will kill enough people that the cry babies force them to change the spawn points back. I havent respawned since the patch however guys in my group have. Without vehicles in the game these spawn points just add an unneeded grind. A running sim is not very fun to play. You want to spawn my buddy clear on the other side of the map then I better damn well have a vehicle to go pick his ass up with.

In an area that is roughly 140 sq miles (1/2 the size of the city limits of San Francisco ) there are 3 major military installations and at least 2 smaller ones. This is also the former Soviet Union.... There would be military equipment for days around there. Have any idea how many AK's the Russians produced? It is the most produced assault rifle in the world after all. So whats with all the too much military weapon cry baby crap?

Its not the mag its the gun. I have read on other forums that when you player dupe the 45 doesnt work again no matter what the condition of the mag and bullets... it will just click

I have found a lot of the naked players running around Bolota are just spotters/bait for kill teams trying to flush people out.

And yet there are 5 military installations within the 140 sq miles of this game map... so again WTF are you talking about? The current map is 140 square miles... within the current map there are 5 military installations. I dont care about the world... I am talking about THIS CURRENT MAP. What is so hard to understand about that? I didnt make the map... dont bitch at me about it. I am dealing with the realities of this map not how it should have been or could have been or would have been in real life or how you wish it was. There is no official back story to this game and all I am saying is that in an area 1/2 the size of San Francisco there are 5 military installations. That is A LOT!!! Its funny to hear so many people talk about killing evil bandits and helping people. Most of the time the only reason you know someone is near you is because they start shooting at you. Seems to me there are a lot of people using bandit as the justification for killing someone after the fact. They dont want to admit that they KoS just like everyone else.... they only kill bandits LOL .

That doesnt really matter. Russia sends AK's everywhere. In the poorest of African countries AK;s are so plentiful and cheap that you could get one for the recycle value of a soda can.

Apples and oranges I think. the DayZMod really created a new game. What you are talking about is directing traffic within an existing game. Admins with agendas are not needed in an open world IMO.

You are missing the point yet making it for me at the same time. I dont think everyone in Eastern Europe owns an assault rifle... however I do know that the Russian military has vast amounts of them along with other gear. What I am saying is: given the number of military bases in a 140 sq mile map it is conceivable that there would be a metric shit ton of military gear everywhere you go... also as you and others have pointed out in this thread Europe has much stricter civilian weapon regulations than America. SO taking both of those things into account it seems to me that there would be more military weapons in the map than civilian

That being said I would still love to handcuff and force feed rotten fruit and disinfectant to the guys with guns its just that they don't usually surrender. Actually what would really be cool is if you could use the syringe to take a sample from a dead zombie and inject it into a person you have handcuffed. That would be better than the rotten fruit and disinfectant.

I just assume everyone with a backpack and a gun is a bandit and KoS them. I dont KoS guys without guns.... with them I handcuff them and feed them rotten fruit and disinfectant.

Once fully geared up I go to Cherno with handcuffs to force feed noobs rotten fruit and disinfectant spray, then I make my way to Balota to people hunt. Is there something else to do in this game ????? Actually I would love to find that bug tester guy and kill him... that sounds like it would be fun

Night is a little too dark IMO. I live in Boise Idaho and you can go 20 mins outside of the city into the mountains and be able to see pretty good in the woods with just the light from the moon and stars. DayZ is like pitch black darkness

You might want to READ YOUR OWN DAMN LINK. "number of privately owned small firearms divided by number of residents" Let me make this a little more clear for you... privately owned small firearms. Military weaponry would not be included in your wiki stats. There are at least 5 military installations in an area 1/2 the size of San Francisco... If anything this further proves my point... there would be MORE military weapons in this area than civilian
