Dawn (DayZ)

im lagging like shit, Frame spikes literally every second. Running normal arma 2 att pretty good graphics and still high fps. Running DayZ with the crappiest graphics ever, Framespikes about 10-15 fps.. AMD Phenom II X6 1055T Processor, 2800 Mhz, 6 core. 64 bit computer 620W Power Supply. Gigabyte GA-870A-UD3, Socket AM3 + XFX Radeon HD6870 1GB 2xFAN 2Tb Caviar Green (yeah it sucks) I dont know if these specs are good or not. It was all i could afford when i bought the computer. Think i need to replace my Radeon HD and perhaps my AMD Phenom II X6 Edit: I checked if i could run this game at, I passed it so i should be able to play this game without raging at the fps drops and low fps.. http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/intro.aspx

Yes, you need Arma 2: Combined Operations ( this is Arma 2 and Arma 2 : Operation Arrowhead) You also need to download the mod from www.dayzmod.com The games takes abit to download if you have poor internet like me :s ( Arma2 took about 14-16 hours at 100kb/s, Arrowhead have been downloading for 4-5 hours now and im at 42%..) Combined operations costs 24.99€ But ive seen somewhere that you can get Dayz with the Arma 2 Demo and Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead. This will cost about 12€ or something around that.

Having to kill 5,000 zombies to erase 1 kill is kinda too much.. Most people dont live past 400-600 kills... Having killed 5,000 zombies is like walking on water.. Having a special skin for Bandits, and another skin for Survivors ( 0 murders but survived more than.. lets say 20 ingame hours) And a skin for players that have 0 murders and less than 20 hours survived.

This would be really hard to implement into the game.. aaaaalot of coding will be needed for this.. Though it would be nice.. Anyone that had found a weapon that had a perfect Zero on the sights would have a advantage, which could make these weapons even more valuable.. Having a Perfectly Zeroed .50 cal while most people have weapons that jams and such would be really overpowered :D

For a full DayZ game without all those ugly glitches (yes im talking about fence proning, ladder falling, Hackers and Disconnect before death, proning in buildings Etc..) i would pay atleast 20€ for the game, I would pay for skins too. (oh.. Having skins that requires a type of achievment to get would be really nice! Then you know who is pro and who the Scrub) i think skins is enough, if were all going to buy hats and new weapons it would be just like Team Fortress 2, And i hate that game.

would be cool with a heatmap, if he makes it now and lets say.. a week from now he will post the heatmap. because the heatmap would most likely have changed during that period of time.

I think this would be fun and as Existential said, this might make people even More cautious about locations and such.. Which will only bring even more realism into Dayz.

I agree, Having a new map with more objects making the world look more "alive". Instead of just trees we could have shacks, and dirt roads. Fences? and misc objects There is alot of Open and pointless space, also constructing the map so that no area is better than the other would be awesome. some Urban areas which is mainly focused on pvp and scavenging would be great too. Having a Map Change would most likely please alot of people, Getting to Explore new places and such.
