I read somewhere that deer stands sometimes have a rifle. Ok, I'm new to the game but been to many deer stands, 30 at least and never found anything. Has anyone seen weapons there? Or anything else for that matter? Or is that only in the MOD version and not the standalone version that you may find a weapon?

I agree with you. .......But I would like to see this. (maybe it's a bad idea, but this is what I would like to see) - A lot more zombies. - Random spawns points of zombies (more unpredictable). - A variety of zombies with a different approach to attacking humans. - When a player dies, he then becomes a zombie - A lot more guns and ammo Of course, you don't want DayZ to become an arcade game with just constant shooting at zombies. But if the zombies are by far the main threat, players would help each other out a lot more. Zombies I don't fear. It's people I fear. When I see zombie movies, the main threat are zombies. Of course, like in Dawn of the Dead, humans kill humans sometimes. ANyway, this is not a complaint. I'm loving the game. And it's only alpha and it will get better.

Good thread... Indeed, where are the heros. All I find are cowards. I was killed, shot in the back whilst looking for food. No warning shot, no talking... just shot in the back by 2 cowards. I hardly had anything to give them. Waist of a bullet. They could have said, "freeze, put your arms in the air, press F2" but no, just got shot in the back. So much easier to KoS and hard to be a hero. You want a challenge? Be a hero and not a coward.

i would like more random food spawns. Chicken in farms, a cow in a field. i think later, we could have the occasional random military plane flying above dropping cargo with random stuff - One would be food and grain, the other would be ammo, one would have tools, medicine. Damn, i keep starving to death if not eaten alive.

same here... but to be honest, if i tried, i would probably be the 1st to die. I have been playing for a few hours now and i still run out of food. FOOD is what usually kills me. So if you see a white woman on a UK server, offer her some food please.

This thread has given me some hope and looking forward to getting back home from my short holiday to play this tough game again. I've only played this game for 1 day and half my deaths were by bandits when I had nothing to offer them except my torch and my blood. But I must admit, if someone tries to tie me up, I will put up a fight because doing so is against human rights. ( I know, human rights don't exist in a post apocalyptic world but games are still not that immersive.) But I would like to thank you for not exploiting your power by targetting bully bandits and helping noobs such as myself. Many thanks!

Hunting is one of their priorities.... hunting animals for food i mean, not hunting zombies

yeah i've had a couple of objects which i couldn't pick up (and they weren't on the top of a cupboard or shelves). I know i know, it's alpha.

excellent idea - and that you can a only have a maximum of 2 characters.... I think the game will still be immersive with these rules. And it's cheat free.

Is it because most people on here are virgin kids who have a lot of sexual frustration and some anger towards their parents because they were not taught to communicate from a young age? I have played this game for just one day and each time I met a human being in this game I gave them the F1 friendly wave but I have been attacked every time except once. Don't get me wrong, I love this game but if this continues as it is, I shall demand for a single player option. I also have been attacked by someone who was almost naked with nothing to gain by attacking me. I must admit, it was funny as it made no sense at all to attack me. But this type of weirdness makes me want this game to have a single player option especially after reading your stories. NPCs is an option.
