    As far as I know, it uses a modified system of ARMA 2's sound engine. Hence why it might be different now for some types of headsets. AFAIK my are working fine but it is not as directional as I would like it to be.

    I feel the exact same way, some dude spawned behind me when me and my friend were clearing a military spawn. My friend noticed a reloading sound and it wasnt us and as I walked in the room, saw him and shot him. Hit tab on his body and saw loads of awesome shit like spare magazines for me (and a lot of mine were lost due to bugs) and loads of other useful shit. BUT THE FUCKING BODY DISSAPEARED ; _ ;. The second corpse that I have lost.

    Yeah, having ammo more rare would definitely increase the survival part of what the game is meant to be. I would also prefer civilian weaponry to be a LOT more common.

    No, that is an awful idea. It is one surefire way to piss off many members of the community. Let people have private conversations, I will play the game but if it removes my privacy then it can fuck itself.
