I'm not really a bandit nor hero. I don't KOS, but I'll kill any group (Bandit, hero, etc.) that poses an actual threat. My gameplay style is heavily influenced by guerrilla warfare, and I feel comfortable with any type of gun, with the exception of LMGs. I work well alone and in a squad, and I tend to help others out when in need. But take advantage of me, and I will destroy you.

How to avoid being killed by bandits?

Honestly, there is an alternative. You can enter any city with a stealth technique, and if you're careful, you can come out with some decent starting gear. Let's say you get an Elecktro spawn, and you hear gunshots in the distance. You could do a few things in that situation, but a good idea would be to do some passive recon. If you can see your enemy, you can avoid them. They probably don't need loot from inside buildings, so loot and stay on high ground. You run into a player, and then what? You hide, with a backup plan in mind. If things don't decide to go swimmingly, just book it outta there. A skilled "hider" can get all the gear he needs from residential spawns that don't lay right near the main road, as those are the hot spots. Once you obtain anything to help you carry food items, or anything else, feel free to leave the city, or move onto the hopospots and loot there. Some of the general rules I usually follow( that lead to a successful loot run) are: -Know what you're looking for, you can get tripped up by other loot stuffs. -avoid people in general. -stay off low ground, keep to high ground. -Be afraid to lose your few possessions. It could help you erase the thought of contact with others, and plus it'll help you make decisions that benefit you( and possibly your squad) -If all else fails, just run. Those are some GENERAL rules to follow if you actually wanna get geared up successfully. Oh, and don't worry about bandits actually coming directly for you, I'm sure they'll be distracted on all of the YOLOers running though town.

    Stuck in a room

It could also depend what kind of room your stuck in. I mean, if there's a staircase that makes up part of the room, try vaulting into that. If anything, you could possibly off yourself with some rotten food or anything poisonous in the vicinity.

    More zombie types

Pfft, I was killed by a wrench yesterday. I mean, don't get me wrong, you can take me out at far range too, but I usually travel light and without armor

    Bandit skins/Hero skins ?

I like the idea of the whole ID thing, but there are some ways to implement a bandit/hero identification on the character. I was thinking an armband with the red anarchy symbol could possibly show other players who is a bandit. The same could go for heroes, and the idea of symbols could also be implemented into other things. Maybe the bandit has the same markings on his ballistic helmet, or their gun attachments could be a different color. And who knows, maybe some sick motherfucker would collect his victim's blood samples in a petri dish (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Petri_dish) or something, lol. The heroes could also have the armbands, but with a red cross symbol on it or something. They could have other things, and maybe the armbands could also have the print of a clan/squad.

    How about spray tags?

I like the idea of the "We were once here" thing, but I think it could come in a different form. Like maybe you found a book and some paper somewhere, and you could make a drawing or stamp on the paper, and then stick it in the book. Maybe that book could be highlighted to show it contains something in it, and plus it'd be optional to look at. So trolls can draw on the paper, but people who make youtube vids and stream (without profanity) can choose whether or not to stare at a picture of some dude's balls.
  6. I couldn't agree more with Gews. We all know about the hacking problem, and I'm absolutely positive the Devs know as well. If everyone shouts: "HACKERZ ARE EVURYWHERE", all the actual things that the Devs might not know about (like the accuracy tests and such ) will be diluted by a bunch of people screaming the obvious. So let's free up some space on the Forums and "pipe it" about the script kiddies.

    Can I suicide?

I don't think there's an actual mechanic in the game for that yet. Your best bet would be to find some tall rocks or a zombie. You could also start firing your M4, assuming you have ammo for it. That would attract a player or zed. Try both, either the fall will kill you, or zombies might eat your face. I believe you can also respawn if you have broken legs, so the fall idea would work if you're dry on ammo.
