No it didn't have to do with content, yea we would log in and immediate crash, apparently after doing some digging the servers are running BE 1.210 and everyone who owns DayZ only has 1.209 and you can't download 1.210 anywhere I can find.

As far as I know the issue hasn't been addressed by Bohemia yet, the more people that do it, the sooner they get it fixed. Abusing a bug/exploit, is by no means toxic towards the game and/or community. If anything it gets the problem sorted quicker, it brings it to the attention of the devs.

Um, no sir...if that were possible I think we would all lock it at 60fps. Do you understand how the whole rendering/gaming/entire process of computing it works? Your computer is constantly receiving and sending data in order to give you a display ever second you're playing a game. If data is received and turned into a picture slower than you have less frames. You can lock your frames at 30fps if you want I suppose, however that would most likely involve you staring at a wall doing nothing.

Yo sir, are an idiot. 1. No one is forcing you to play other maps 2. No one ever said anything about removing Chernarus and the other maps would simply be in addition to 3. The Devs will most likely not be making any maps and will instead either improve upon already existing maps from Arma II/DayZ Mod or they will rely on the community to provide. Again I will state, you are a conclusion jumping idiot get you shit straight man.

I almost guarantee everyone here played a different map of DayZ at least once, without modding we wouldn't have amazing maps like Namalsk, Panthera, Taviana, etc. So I like this point. To all the haters: Modding simply expands the amount of people that the game appeals to. I don't see the problem with making a mod that makes the game easier or harder, it just caters to different tastes and if you don't like that play style then don't play that mod. By allowing modding we aren't forciing you to play easy mode or hard mode, it's simply giving options, and if you haven't noticed in life yet, options are good.

Ok, so, there were these two guys in Electro, one with a Mosin, one with an M4. I, being a fresh spawn, have my trusty shovel, I beat the Mosin guy to a pulp and quickly transition to his now spraying friend. I die. I get lucky to respawn not too far from Electro. I find a fireaxe in an industrial building and seek out the M4 guy. I find him with his back to me, kill him with the axe and then have my friend shoot him with a Mosin for good measure. Unfortunately I die to the M4 guy in a final spray of bullets. Now we are both dead. Now this guy is talking in direct to me, "I'm gonna kill you and your friend," he says and in the bottom left of the screen I can see his in-game name to be jessegarcia. I'm running to Electro from Kamyshovo when what happens? A fully geared guy, who looked identical to the one I had just recently killed, with a full-auto magnum suddenly appears behind me. A friendly guy with a fire extinguisher who had been running with me tries to fight him. When this happens the guy disappears. "WTF?" "I don't know just RUN" and then this man with the full auto magnum appears in front of us both. Guns us both down and says in direct "Told ya I'd get ya" and what is the name in the bottom left? jessegarcia. My friend logged immediately after for fear of death. Now I don't know where to put this as you can see in the tittle so if there's somewhere specific this should be, mods please move it there. This story is just an example of what DayZ SA hackers are capable of.

Did a fresh re-install but to no avail

So my main menu is all white, my character doesn't show up on my main menu at all, if I go to Character I only get blank boxes and no character displayed, when I spawn in I'm a new character setup every time (Male/Female/Black/White/Asian/Different colored clothes/etc), to top it all off my character has gotten reset upon switching servers 6 times in the past 2 hours of play. Just switching to another server to try and find some people to help (playing hero) and boom on the coast again. I've reported all these bugs but I wanted to make sure I'm not the only one. My friends don't have this problem which I find strange.

I'm fully aware it's not a beta but I was just trying to figure out what it did when I enabled it. So far we have gathered that nothing changes.

That would make sense, there are servers out there named as 133860 and the current build is 113860 so is 133860 the build of the "beta" then? Those servers don't seem any different however.

Your info is incorrect as I can join any server I feel like. Steam did something but it doesn't seem like anyone knows what it did.
