Today when i first logged on to DayZ and i was perusing for a server to hop on, I stumbled upon a server called "Loot Farm, reset every 20 minutes". After reading the title of the server, i experienced two emotions: 1. Anger- Obviously its whoever rented the server's intention to set up some kind of easy loot farming system for newbies with no integrity, but it's just such a dumb waste of a server. It's the epitome of the screwed up loot farming/server hopping atmosphere that seems to permeate the alpha thus far. 2. Depression- It depresses me that people are still trying to take the easy way out. The worst part is the 20 minute server reset that would literally allow someone to run in a military base, grab the loot, wash, rinse, and repeat. Has anyone else run into these types of servers? If so, I'd love to hear your thoughts

If I expect to be running into people, I'll keep it out, just not in an aggressive stance

Beans for MDogg Banditry is holding up people and usually not killing them. What's demonstrated in this video is senseless sniping. I'm not hating by the way, people should be free to play however they want

I don't think the drugs can necessarily be seen as a "power-up", so that should be fine. What I'm concerned about, however, is the eventual suicide animations

How large of servers are you playing on? If you're playing on 1-10 player servers you probably won't run into anyone. If you're playing on a 40 person server, then your definition of safe must be different than mine

PU scopes are everywhere now LRs, however, may as well be the holy grail. I've only been lucky enough to find one since the updates and it's been in badly damaged condition, but hey, beggars can't be choosers

I think you're probably seeing an influx of the 7.62x51 ammo because it's no longer just the Mosin that fires it. Now the B95 uses the same ammo, so they most likely upped the spawn rate a bit to account for that

Look at it this way, now you get to experience the magic of DayZ all over again! Hopping from town to town and getting all the loot you can as a newspawn is debatably the most fun part of the game.

I found a black mosin with a compensator while I was by myself in a military base once. I took it, and ran away as fast as i could

Ya attempting any shot over like 500m is a bit ridiculous at the moment, especially if you first shot doesn't land because it practically impossible to see where you hit without a spotter

As of right now I play on regular for the sole reason that I prefer 3PP (a cardinal sin, I know), but I know that I'll eventually have to make the transition

We're you wearing a tactical vest or something of that sort? There have been a lot of reports lately of people getting shot, not bleeding, but everything in their tactical vest being ruined.

That would be awesome! But i doubt it would be incredibly effective with the current visible breath system
