You need to enable the ability to join the experimental servers in your steam setting. Go to your library>Right click DayZ>Properties>Betas>Opt into experimental. If you havent done that already, that's probably the reason you can't see them

Refresh it a few times, and also check you server restrictions. You may be pinging the servers that don't show up poorly -

Happens to me, sometimes it happens when i eject the rounds from the magnum to reload, then it doesn't fire after. Usually happens with ruined bullets -

Definitely true. Once you're geared up ("living long enough"), becoming evil is 1 of the 2 options currently available for end game -
There isn't really a way to know who you are dealing with. You can press P to view all the members of the lobby, but that doesn't really help your cause. The only way to get someone's name is for them to tell you or for you to interact with them (e.g. "You begin handcuffing XxCOD_ELITE_SNIPEZxX")

That's a bug that they're trying to fix. There are a few ways to get rid of it, but no concrete solution at the moment

All that stuff you described? That's DayZ. That will always be DayZ. If you get this riled up over losing a character or two, maybe this isn't the right game for you.

When i have my Mosin with all attachments, i like to set up in a high elevation spot near military bases, turn a flashlight on in one of the jails and leave it there, and wait for the bandits to roll in

With every change of spawns, there's going to be a new city that is just an absolute free for all. It used to be Cherno and Elektro, now with the new spawns it's Solnichy and Berezino

Personally, I haven't been getting reset as much as a few weeks ago. Stick to the well known servers, not the little private servers and you should be okay

It's because all of the spawns are on the east coast now. You may have to shift your Mt. Olympus to Berezino -
Playing without perma death is taking away a core element of DayZ gameplay. That's like CoD kiddies playing without quick-scopes :lol:

It's even more fun when you log in the shipwreck and respawn in a room with a non-functioning door :) Constantly sprinting and vaulting near a wall usually works -
