Thank you for being better than DICE

    Huzzah! All praise Rocket!
  2. Tizzle

    Discourage career bandits

This is the only one i wouldn't want to see implemented, solely because i don't really support the whole "Sanity" aspect either. Other than that, some pretty fantastic ideas!
  3. Tizzle

    Suggestion about maps

Looking forward to see workable and mark-able maps along with some kind of journal system
  4. Tizzle

What are you most looking forward too for Full Release

No more character resets and a larger selection of guns
  5. Tizzle

Suggestion - Board up existing houses

Ya we'll probably begin to see stuff like this when the player built structures are integrated.

What are your thoughts on the FNX 45?

Personally, i prefer the magnum. However, if i don't want to attract tons of attention (like the magnum tends to do), i use the FNX
  7. Tizzle

    Players, communicte more please.

How you respond to players, even in terms of the stance you take (aggressive or laid back) determines whether or not you're going to be killed in most cases
  8. Tizzle

    NWAF?

Ya the NWAF is quite large. Looting the entire thing without running into any....disturbances.....can take around an hour some times

    WHERE DO I FIND A SNIPER D:

Ya the mosin with bipod and long range scope is the best you can do at this point. They will most certainly be more weapons and attachments added as the dev cycle continues

map in 4 pieces is nonsense thing

The only thing i use the in game maps for is measuring the distance between two places, for everything else i just use the DayZ DB map in my steam overlay. I don't have a problem with the current system.
  11. Ya this is a relatively well documented bug. Lots of players experiencing character resets when logging on to server (including my self). Not really sure why it happens yet
  12. Someone said it before, sniping is one of the real "end game"-y type things in the alpha right now. There are only so many things you can do once you're fully geared up.

    Need assistance

Here are my recommendations for you: 1. Use a Map- You can utilize the in-game steam social overlay to go in to the steam browser and pull up a map of chernarus. This is essential because it allows you to easily access the map and keep track of you location. 2. Use a Mic- While you'll obviously run in to some people who will kill you regardless, a lot of time the people you meet will be willing to trade and barter, and even accompany you on your journeys. Using a mic is really helpful for these situations because it allows you to actually communicate with the players instead of using the emotionless "wave" gesture. 3. Never pass up on food and soda- It's easy to be fooled into thinking that the only things that matters in DayZ are weapons, but potentially even more important is food and drink. If you encounter food or drink and you have room in your backpack/pocket, take it. You never know when you'll run out or be in dire need for them. Welcome to DayZ, and I look forward to seeing you in Chernarus

The only solution for DayZ: Simulation.

Wow Can I say that this was the longest thread I've read in a while, but it was worth it. You've obviously put a lot of thought into these ideas, and I definitely want to see some, of not all, of these features eventually implemented

    More realistic wounds?

I was climbing up a ladder to the top of a building in a city north of Kozlavko, I was really exposed on the ladder and sure enough I started hearing gunshots. The guy landed at least 4 shots on me before I got to the top and went prone to bandage. I took some shots back with a Mosin and they fled. With the number of times I got hit, I should have been dead no doubt. So obviously the current system helped me in that situation, but it definitely could use some polishing
  16. Ya as you start playing, you begin to make a mental list of houses and structure that aren't even worth looting
  17. Tizzle

What did you do in Dayz today?

Met up with a friend, began heading to Rify, went into a construction building and my character took it upon himself to walk off the edge and die.... Classic DayZ Standalone

    [Suggestion] Server Event's

I think that would add a really nice gameplay element, it would definitely throw a gameplay curveball once in a while
  19. When someone rings the doorbell and you try to equip your m4...
  20. I've been pretty satisfied with the unique buildings they've added this far, so hopefully that's a sign of good things to come
  21. You guys seem like a very well organized group with generally good intent. Look forward to seeing you in Chernarus
  22. 6 happened to me....fully geared up, tons of food, mosin with LR scope and bipod, coming from the NW airbase on my way south to meet a friend on the coast, climbing a ladder to get to the top of a building because i thought i was being tailed, got to the top of the ladder and fell all the way back down it, died Closed my laptop and didnt play for a couple days
  23. Very nice and well thought out idea, interested to see if anything like this is implemented in the (hopefully near) future
  24. Mosins are relatively common there. I've found as many as 3 in one go

    KOS and stupidity

The way I approach it is based off of the other person's reaction first. I try not to KoS. If someone sees my and immediately draws their weapon without getting on direct communication, I'm gonna shoot to kill. But if someone approaches and asks to barter, I won't kill them and I'll let them be. That being said, I agree that KoS is just another part of the game
