I was excited to share my story of getting lucky with loot by coming across a whole group of scrubs but I guess that isn't the case. I'm not angry at losing some bright white truck. Vehicles like that are magnets for retards. We were actually planning on blowing it up but we did not have any explosives at the time. I came up with two solutions before someone stole it while Zelgaden was logging on. 1. Use it as bait by sitting it out in the middle of a field and sniping anyone who gets near it. 2. Blow it up since a white truck is basically worthless considering we move quickly across the map. We both have ghillies. We are unseen.

I watched a group of four players get smoked by one player with a DMR on the Dallas 20 server. My partner and I were moving west' date=' just north of the NE airfield to the other side of the map to Grozovy Pass. Just as we were approaching Poboda Dam we heard a number of DMR shots and watched the chat become filled with players dying. Aegir was killed. Chernogorsk_Bandit was killed. reersh9 was killed. Hunter was killed. We moved to a hill north of the dam, giving us a clear view across the lake to the barn and the dam itself. We spotted five bodies, four being the group we watched get mowed down and another who must have died earlier before we were in range for sights and sounds. We both have ghillie suits so we just watched the area and waited for the sniper to come out. I spotted a white off-road truck starting to move in the woods east of the dam and I knew it had to be the sniper. We waited for him to start looting before we fired. While I was watching him, my fellow teammate determined the only suitable spot for an overwatch was the hill we were currently on the the hill where the opposing sniper was perched. When he finally exited the vehicle, I took the shot and smoked him from 600m. Dissent was killed. We waited a few minutes and my teammate moved in as I took watch from the hill. After he swept the area we moved in and looted all of the bodies and hid everything else we couldn't carry. [b']Loot: DMR with 7 magazines SVD Camo with 1 magazine M4A1 CCO M107 with 2 magazines M16A3 Lee Enfield M1014 Every corpse had a coyote backpack GPS STANAG magazines out the ass and other assorted loot like medical supplies, tools and food. We also stole the truck, but was later stolen back by the admin later that night, which was funny considering we moved 10k from the spot they died. Can you please stop giving out false information? I run with Reersh9 and we lost the truck that night. We never came back for it. It's gone to us. You really need to just stop spreading false rumors. Why would I lie about this story? I wasn't the one who killed you. We heard Dissent shooting you and he was the only one I killed. We just got lucky enough to be around where you guys got smoked and got to loot the corpses. I seriously don't understand why you are so butthurt about it.

I literally only log on to eat and drink. I camp my character next to a pond and go hunting when I run out of food and fill my canteens up. I'm not logging on to get killed by some scrub hacker. To all the people claming "it's an alpha" need to shut it. Alpha, beta or release, hacking is not an excuse to lose your shit. These are the scummiest of players and they are ruining the game for a lot of people. I haven't had the misfortune of dying to a hacker yet but fuck all that noise. I'm not going to let that happen.

The only ones who seem to be complaining are the PvE players, coincidentally. Go to the bandit forum and see if you find someone complaining. Go ahead and try.

If you want to play without any bullshit, this man is doing the right thing. What is the harm if he locks the server and allows anyone in who isn't a shitbag cheater? I doubt he WANTS to do this permanently, this is a reaction to the massive influx of cheaters lately and this has been the only proactive, temporary solution.

Yeah, something can be done. 1. Buy cheetohs and a glock. 2. Place cheetohs within smelling distance of said hacker. 3. Lure said hacker to the bag of cheetohs. 4. Proceed to unload a full magazine into their fat corpse. 5. Collect their Ragu blood and make some spaghetti later.

Some people just aren't ready to play a mod like this. If you want something easier, play the CS zombie mod or Left 4 Dead 1 and 2.

EDIT 2: A good tactic to avoid hackers...stay out of full servers during primetime playing hours, and stay away from popular hosts, i.e. Reddit or [MISC'] servers.

Alright, this thread turned into a shitfest with the typical "get used to it", "this is an alpha" and "your gear sucks anyways" bullshit. First of all, I'm the OP and I have yet to die from a hacker, I was wondering about the punishments for the hackers, not if or when they will get what they deserved. Second. Don't talk shit about people's gear. All I'm missing is a pair of NVGs and a rangefinder. Other than that, I'm very well geared. My sniper team has the best possible weapons and skins for the job. A lot of whining from both sides ITT, from the "xhardxcorex" players to the people whining about losing an Enfield.

I absolutely agree, a hunting rifle bug game round would destroy someone. And yes, I've fired many guns. Even with a scoped rifle like this, I would probably never hit a man-sized target from 500 yards on the first shot unless I was really lucky. But I admit I'm not a very good shot in real life. Shooting isn't like it is in a video game, you don't just put the crosshairs on and the gun does everything for you. Just by pulling the trigger, you can skew the shot in any number of directions very easily. You have to be a machine to be as accurate as the bullet is out of the barrel. Have you seen how far 500 yards is? Have you pointed a gun down a range and SEEN how far that is? 200 yards is a really daunting shot, I don't think I've even seen a range that went 500 yards in my neck of the woods. In the marines, you shoot out to 500m with ironsights. This is standard for every marine. 500m, with ironsights. It' actually is easier to shoot a man sized target than most people think. I could give you two 5 round mags and show you how to shoot with the first 5 and have you hit a target while prone with at least 4 out of the 5 of the second mag if you don't suck and let your ego get in the way.

Read some threads bro, we know it will be fixed in the future. Rocket even posted in my thread about what EXACTLY is going to happen to the hackers, which he eluded to being something he isn't going to tell us for the time being.

There is the problem, you've read too much philosophy yet you've never been in the position to experience anything like combat or something traumatic enough to cause PTSD. You are putting a biased and naive meta game change as a major issue in the game. No one wants to play this game to log on and make sure their character has taken their Zoloft and ate food and drank water so they don't die.
