I pretty much have zero opinion on this. While I'd much rather have a 1person tent. A place to store a pack at your feet, sleeping bag to slow the consumption of food,, maybe even heal you quicker if injured (I'm looking at you broken legs). I already get by easily with the 12slot courier pack, brown hunting pants, and brown hoodie. Plenty of space for food, bandages, box of ammo, cam opener, splint, compass, and a canteen or two.

What worked for me, was wall humping as close as possible,then logging into a server with high latency. Teleported me outside several feet. Look for servers in yellow or red.
