Being a born and raised Alaskan, spruce hen will scare the hell out of anyone in the woods. Complete silence, followed by something the size of a fat duck snapping twigs and flapping above ya.

Actually, I want the scene from Lost to be added in. The birds suddenly stop chirping, and fly away. You hear grass rustle, then out of nowhere, a polar bear comes at ya doin about thirty. That'll squeeze some fear out.....

Eh, I get my kicks out of surviving, and long scoping the high traffic areas. Pretty simple targeting really, has an m4 raised, see if you can neck shot em. -
Very useful actually. Just need friends lol

Plant yourself somewhere isolated, stuff food and water till you get the message that your stomachs is full, then sit with f3, restuffing every ten mins. Bandage and gobble some antibiotics if ya have em. Should bring the color back and steady ya after some time.

I've been a fan of the mosin since enemy at the gates released. Turns out, that's when I became a fan of Ed Harris and Jude law lol. An excellent firearm, truly one of my favorites.

I climb one of those obnoxious stair filled apartment buildings, with the doors that don't open. Edge out into the balcony, and back into a corner. There I log.

Third person view removal from SA discussion

See the skyrim camera works fine for me. I get one helluva thrill from slowly peaking around corners in first person. Only camera I use for looting, combat, etc. -

It's just not the same as being able to turn the camera around and see your charactor animate in the world. Hearing he birds in the forests, and having sun shafts bursting through the branches and come off your shoulders. Seeing your toon that you spent so much time surviving on actually run, walk, etc. when you turn the camera around him. It's just not the same George. -

as long as it's not a generic armband color thing. get creative, personally, i'd love to type a bandanna to the end stock of my mosin. something unique, as we change our clothes so quickly here, or not at all in some cases.

hard part about being shot at is making peace with being hit. gunnerysgt used to say "Think of being shot as a vacation" lol -
Is it just going to be these 4 guns?
Ineedscoffee replied to MasterOfDayz's topic in General Discussion
we already have to many guns floating around as is. frankly, i'd be happy if they degraded over time without proper oiling and care. they would have to add these items, which would be nice. maybe rarely find a manual on the care and taking apart of m4's, as those cannot just be oiled like an aut six. be a good way to keep the amount of guns in player hands low. -

best bet is to focus on your own survival. first off, bandits don't just kill you for no reason. they cuff you, take your ammo, can opener, whatever they need to urgently survive. they let you keep your gun, packs, etc. then they take your pants, and send you away. murders just flat out kill you at the first given moment. these are kids watching twitch tv, see'ing their roll models do the same. hit a town quickly for food, fill up your gut at a well, and make your way north a few miles. use those towns to gear up, keep proceding north. eventually, you stop seeing people, most kids are hanging out on the coast at the big 3, to grief and fight others like themselves. once you come into a firearm of somekind, always keep it at the rest position if you feel you might run into someone. it only takes a quick rightclick, and it's ready to fire, just aim and pull. next comes natural instinct. someone even comes into your range with a bat, axe, etc. thats in their hands, you keep your distance and use your voice to warn them to shoulder it or you will shoot. then, you either shoot, or they listen or keep a good distance. don't bother grouping unless you have an actual buddy to play with. avoid people. i suggest eventually, to make your way to bashyna. it's a very small base north of the northwest airfield. just stay outside the airfield on your way there. i've yet to encounter someone there. have 3 rooms to loot inside, and 2 outside, with military grade gear, even sidearm clips, backpacks, etc. only 2 or 3 zombies at max, and most importantly, a well. if you see the doors open, you quietly blend back into the woods and wait. -

to add, most know to keep a hunting rifle oiled and cleaned. doing so is simple. ever take apart an assault rifle, gut it, clean it, and re-assemble it? left over parts are fun arnt they :P -

most impoverished nations with small knit factions such as these pictures, are provided training from guerilla sources. when they recruit a child, it's someone who has handled the firearm teaching them to use it. anyone can pick up a firearm and squeeze a trigger. to use it properly however, is another thing. For example, i can easily pick up a thirty aut six, chamber a round, level it, watch my breathing, and put a round down field. i grew up in alaska as a hunting family. this is second nature for me. when i joined up however, and was presented with an m16a4, i was nervous. i had no knowledge of the recoil, the weight, what to do if it jammed, how to sight it, etc. that only came with training. it was much harder to use and to get used to. -
rice, tuna, all i need.

i only use third person to check myself out as i sprint through the woods. yes ladies, i look good. ron burgandy good. -
actually, if im killed as a fresh spawn, i shrug my shoulders and pity the poor soul who derives enjoyment from it, and move on. you'll never find me to kill me otherwise, the north is vast, and winter is coming.....

neither, the more of a threat you look, the bigger the target.

you willingly let someone take your firearm? /thread

I'm seeing way to much military grade hardware. Half the pogs I know couldn't level one if these properly, let alone the average gamers. We need civilian arms. Where's my thirty aut six? Four o eight? Snares, bear traps, etc. You bring in the big guns, you turn us into a call of duty mindset, which people already have. I've already seen one popular streamer complaining of having to eat, drink, and gather his gear.
