I keep hearing these rumors about rope, sticks, and a burlap sack making backpacks. You should see about that for me.

What do you mean now what? Stan: Yeah. Kyle: Yeah yeah. Cartman: All right, yay. Kenny: (Woohoo! Oh man!) Cartman: We did it you guys. We're totally heroes. Kyle: That was such über pwnage Stan: I can't believe it's all over. What do we do now? Cartman: What do you mean? Now we can finally play the game. Kyle: Oh yeah. Cartman: Okay Kenny, add Eyes of the Beast to your hotbar. Stan, check your fury talents to boost your shots. Stan: Got it.

People are absolute dicks on this game!
Ineedscoffee replied to Caspion's topic in General Discussion
Just gonna drop this off right over here, yeah..... We're Bandits. We're dicks! We're reckless, arrogant, stupid dicks. And the Survivalists are pussies. And Kos'ers are assholes. Pussies don't like dicks, because pussies get fucked by dicks. But dicks also fuck assholes: assholes that just want to shit on everything. Pussies may think they can deal with assholes their way. But the only thing that can fuck an asshole is a dick, with some balls. The problem with dicks is: they fuck too much or fuck when it isn't appropriate - and it takes a pussy to show them that. But sometimes, pussies can be so full of shit that they become assholes themselves... because pussies are an inch and half away from ass holes. I don't know much about this crazy, crazy apocalypse, but I do know this: If you don't let us fuck these assholes, we're going to have our dicks and pussies all covered in shit..... Edited for DayZ -

Oh it's backfired to lol. He was telling me one bandit said "well now it's story time, and I'm the evil queen" and shot him. -

My buddy just plays a track of a six year old asking what's happening, then starts crying. He explains his son is watching him, and they are pretending the birds and trees are a park since he cannot go outside due to the cold. Most players just let him go while saying sorry. -
Fresh spawn, found a nice little town on the coast. Was deserted, no zombies, yet no players. Nothing was looted. First twenty minutes of the game was spent carefully and attentively looting every nook and cranny. Was lucky enough to find a can opener, and an orange backpack. Couple houses later, I've stockpiled on beans, two water bottles, filled up at the well, found a nice white check shirt, grey cargo pants, and a few rounds of mosin ammo. A compass as well, which I felt was personally amazing since I wasent aware that the wind always blew east lol. Went north to the next town, stocked up on vitamins, bandages, found a nice wood chopping axe to fend of zombies, a green ushanka, and was able to switch to a brown hoodie and autumn hunting pants, and brown hiking boots. Noticed there wasent a well tho, and I hadn't seen a pond in the woods I came out of. feeling pretty confident in my sustained survival, I thought I'd backtrack to the previous town for a fill up. Everything was going great, till I remembered my compass, and noticed I had gone northwest instead of south. Made a few sharp turns, and ended up looking at this large concrete building. Doors were open, figured a zombie had went inside. I know, right? Lol. I notice a closed jail cell, and wondered if I could open it. Turns out I can, and was met with easily a full mag from an m4. I lay there unconscious and talked over VoIP, telling them a warning shot would of been enough. The exact words I hear are "shoot his pack, in case he gets up" they line up perfectly and wing my pack with about ten more rounds. Somewhere during which, i died. This was my welcome to the DayZ community

Huh, odd. I point myself towards the tress, do about five mins of sprinting, and i find perfectly good loot....
-
And my axe!

M4 fits the bill for everything I need. Sure, you can mosin me from over 30000 yards away, still have to come loot me :p

Once these you tubers and streamers burn themselves out on this game, and take their herp derp audience with them, what kind of gameplay can we expect? I for one, see less people running into each other on the roads, screaming fists up, let's do this! Possibly less screaming of friendly, then being punched to death in the back of the head. Don't get me wrong, it's great advertising for the game, just the wrong audience. As much as I enjoy watching summit or lyr do constructive gameplay, they mostly partake in toxic behavior, giving new players the wrong idea of the game. Streamers rush military bases, completely ignoring food and water mechanics, charactor resting, etc. I've yet to see any of them head more then five mins north. This worries me, as CoD billy buys the game, crys on the forums about it not being what he watched. Next thing you know, there's CoD Ryan, CoD yurmum, etc, becoming the majority outcry. Games have been shaped this way before, hell, look at wow. The loud mouthed, vocal majority almost always dictates the flow. Now I never played the mod, didn't go trick or treating with Dean, so I don't know if his values are ironclad against this generation. I hope to god so. I'd hate to log on, start with gear, not need to eat and drink, never tire, regen health, choose spawn points, and every other handout these kids demand. I've seen quite a few streamers already complaining on what a pain having to gear up is, and how inconvenient hunger is. How will that community react when you need to find a new tire because it was sniped fom over 900 yards? When ruined gear actually affects your efficiency? Will they man up, and become better for it, bettering the game in the process, or will they go Francis on us and take to the forums, demanding change vs boycott. Granted, this practice is more common in a sub based game model, I've seen it happen. Gun balance in call of duty since modern warfare one comes to mind. Now sure they are easily distracted by new features (cough cough I want fishing cough cough), but those take work, and you can only distract a toddler with something shiny so many times, before it catches on. Unless rolled out weekly that is, this is the real world tho. While not an elitist, pro, etc, I'm not looking forward to having these sporadic, hdad players dumped on me, trying to relive that magic. That moment when for just a second, they pummeled a guy side to side with their favorite estar. When he said "good job bro" and he felt his grinch nuts swell two times that day. Now we all kill on sight, most of us do it with intent in mind tho. Food, water, stepped in his virtual poo, farted in my general direction, called my mother a hamster, whatever. We do not however, find ammo, and immediately fall to the south, just to shoot. We use our ammo, to continually upgrade, and enforce ourselves and positions. We do not become CoD billy, prance along the coastline, our battle cry of "trolololololol" in the air, preying upon some poor new spawn who's getting his feet wet trying to drink from a pond. We have creative bandits for that trama. Now I am not bashing streamers, I'm more concerned of what their behavior will breed for the future. Just a few thoughts.

What can we expect after streamers? Long post
Ineedscoffee replied to Ineedscoffee's topic in General Discussion
There's a very large difference between actual bandits, and what these kids are doing. Real bandits stalk you, wait for your pants to be down at a well, poke the back of your noggin with an m4, kindly ask you to stay still while they apply cuffs to ya. It goes from there. -

Nothing's wrong with call of duty per say. Having a tween cry out something about eating my soul when I pull off a clean knife kill however, well, you play, you get the picture. -

Two trailer park girls go round me outside, round me outside, round me outside -
But what about for those who don't suffer from sanity failings after killing a person? You see for some, there's no difference in killing a man then an animal. Same motor functions, it eats, sleeps, communicates, reproduces, etc. I have several career military buddies who don't see people when they point a gun at them, they see a target. They see the obstacle that's between them and their livelihood. Just as if you were hunting a deer. It's the target, the obstacle, standing between you and your health. If any system were put in place, it would have to be one were after your first kill, your toon convulses, weeps, shakes, etc. for a limited period of time. Your second kill, the systems shorten, till eventually you have zero reaction to it. Anything else, any other system, just doesent make sense in this game to me frankly.

What are your thoughts on people against KO punching?
Ineedscoffee replied to crazyandlazy's topic in General Discussion
bounced for two years, having been club punched in the back of the head, side of the head, top of the head, temple, etc. One punch ko's are perfectly normal. however, they should work it around how well fed/hydrated you are. someone starving wont have the physical force as someone healthy. -
I was the actually the shooter :( http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/163691-combat-logged-like-a-pro-tonight/
