Forget KOS, POS is the real issue!

I won't even take a chance anymore. If your unarmed, you get one warning to stay away, otherwise I shoot you. If your armed with any sort of visible firearm, I shoot you. If you pull a pistol out, I shoot you. If you try to sneak up behind me, I shoot you. If you follow me, I shoot you. I'm not hunting you, and I'm not looking for a sidekick, go broke back dayzmountain somewhere else.

How I would Like To See Dayz Evolve In Story Format

Since I'm at work, I have to make this short. Basically, I'd like the world to die like in the book/movie The Road.

To my Guardian Angel (with a high-powered rifle)

Twist, he was actually aiming for you 0.o
  4. If gasoline reserves go down as we take it from stations, I'll be happy. Only have it replenish every other server reset. However, with electricity being gone, I'm wondering how we will get the gas.

    Grenades in DayZ,what you think?

Has my full support, long as I can rig it so the pin gets pulled on death. Deadman switch style.

To my Guardian Angel (with a high-powered rifle)

Eh, shame really. I prefer it if barrack rats get put down.

PU scope - bullet drop and ranging

So has anyone done sighting in on the mosin it hour a scope?
  8. I ran from Guba's train station in the northeast, to the train station north of Lopatino in the northwest just last night. Followed the tracks, headed out with one canteen at sixty percent, and two cans of beans. Took two hours at normal pace lol. I horribly underestimated how low my supplies actually were, even at full healthy status. Thankfully, dead north, there was another train station, a couple hangers on the right, a huge garage Bay Area with a soccer field across from it, and old Cherkova ahead. Was able to resupply with a case of soda lol. Good times tho.

So why do people refuse being held up?

Come on man, it's no different then trying to drink a cup of coffee with the spoon still there :XHave fun with that mental image lol
  10. Honestly? I'm posted up in the construction site at the train station north of Lopatino. It's unmarked. I stay up there, keeping myself stocked. Ditched all my military rat gear, fully functioning with a brown beenie, white check shirt, autumn hunting pants, brown work gloves, hiking boots, all pristine. Orange twenty five slot pack, two rolls of bandages, compass, complete map, can opener. Torch, two cans of beans, two full canteens, and two unopened packs of mosin ammo with 15 ready. Mosin other pu scope, and a wood choppers axe. Fire axe is to damn noticeable. I also have three yellow waterproof cases. One holds my fnx45 with two spare clips. One holds back up mosin ammo and my long scope, the other holds six extra cans of pristine beans. I still have plenty of pack space as well, in case I care to switch my shirt out with a camo friendly brown hoodie. I make tree line runs to Lopatino for water refills if I need it. Otherwise, I keep my scope between the field and the school/police station located here. The construction site also spawns m4's, accessories, and all the good backpacks. I make sure to stay on a populated server, and I keep people from entering what I've dubbed as "my yard" (I put bullets in them). I also keep my ipad mini up, and watch a streamer or two. Other then that, I check the adjacent building for a magnum and ammo sometimes, and also make trips to far off Guba via the tracks.

    3PP:ON?

Well I guess it's a good thing it's just your opinion, and not Deans then. Some of us enjoy seeing our characters out in the worlds granted, third persons shit for actual, meaningful combat, and no, pressing tab isn't the same damned thing.

Yeah, I'm uh, gonna need a name for this girl.....for uh........research purposes.......

Way I see it, you get behind me, and get the advantage, you've earned your moment, I'll sit through it.

My Kit: What can i improve on ?

I agree with 100% with this. Ditch that damned military gear. Your a walking target. Looking like a barracks rat just attracts other military leg humpers. Scale down that pack to a 25 slot run of the mill orange starter, grabs some autumn hunting pants, brown hoodie, ditch that damned vest for a holster. Hell, I'd even get rid if the m4 in favor of a mosin. Also that firefighter axe makes you a target, switch it for a wood chopping axe. Your gonna be losing space here, but once your at a healthy status, you don't need to pack that much. I run a orange 25slot pack, mosin with pu scope, white check shirt, autumn hunting pants. I have plenty of space for two rolls of bandages, compass, can opener, my full map, couple cans of beans, two canteens, two unopened boxes of mosin ammo, and three yellow water tight cases. One holds my pistol and two spare clips, one holds back up mosin ammo and a long scope, the third holds back up cans of beans. I keep those three in case some wise guy wings my pack. I still have room for extra. Top it off with hiking boots, brown work gloves, and a brown beenie.
  15. Correct myself here. First, the remnants of what's left behind does not qualify as an actual presence. The lack of a command structure eliminates any actual military position. One does not simply pick up a rifle and become a sniper. Marksman Is the ideal term for said field of specialization. Now a well organized marksmanship contest would be fun. However a group of people referring to themselves as actual snipers without any form of training, is just pompous. You awoke on a beach, your not a sniper, your just a good swimmer, and that's up for debate.
  16. Well, considering there is no military presence in sight. Let's go ahead and drop the sniper title. Hunter works better instead.
  17. Way I see it, if your up north in my territory, fully kitted out like a good barracks rat, there's only one way to deal with ya. We both know your not up in my backyard for a fn meet and greet. Now if I see you, typical scavenging outfit, goin house to house, I won't put a bullet in ya. You'll never know I'm there, my canteens already been filled and I'm headed back home. You make your way up however, you get a warning shot. I'll let you know to turn around. you push it, I'll thank you for gathering extra food for me, and a second shot will ring out.
  18. If you have a problem with kos, just stop shooting everyone you see lol. See how well that works.

    Well Its been fun Dayz

Frankly, rust isn't my cup of tea. All someone did was twist dayz and mine craft together. Nothing to exciting.

  25. 50 thousand people used to live here, now it's a ghost town. Made my way out to Guba, doing some restocking. Peer out of a doorway and see some military gear hero running out in the open. Makes his way inside a two story with about twelve windows it seems. I duck out the back, pull my barebones mosin up and level it at him, as he's looting something in the second floor. Over VoIP, I announce myself. Flat out ask if I should shoot him and save myself trouble, or if he's interested in trading anything. No response. He stands directly up and freezes for about forty seconds. I ask again if he's friendly, as I'm not looking to waste ammo. Get a couple of turns out him him, nothing audible though. I sigh and slip back into the doorways. Make my way to the forest line and observe. Never saw him again :p
