    Spawn Changes Too Soon!

    New spawns are pointless. It only makes players run more, that's all. Everyone heads to balota or military bases anyway. If you wanna solve this problem two things to do first: 1. Make military equipment extremely rare. Also ALL of the military equipment found in military areas should be ruined. The only place to find pristine or worn military equipment should be randomly placed heli crash sites or randomly dropped military crates all around the map. 2. Remove server hopping.

    Hacking I'm F^&king tired of it.

    That's not hack. flashy screen happened to me before. It's a bug happens sometimes when you enter the server. You probably got killed as you enter.

    I'd also wish there would be something to push people keep on playing on same server even when it goes night or bad weather.

    I already stopped playing until devs work it out. Also yea I think devs read all some of these, that's what rocked said and done till now. What would you wish us to discuss in in this forum? Guess you didn't notice that here's the exact place to present ideas to devs. Well, I never said my idea was original, nor this topic is about my idea only. Learn to read. What I want is to create the best solution for the issue by combining all the good ideas around. Devs won't read all those million topics post by post. I'm creating a topic so at least one dev could see that best solution and say "well this could be done." Read the topic name kiddo.

    Server hopping is killing this game FAST

    Totally agree with the topic. I know its alpha and we need to test the game instead of having fun and all. But the thing is WE CAN NOT TEST THE GAME because we get killed on every encounter because of the server hopping and ghosting. Devs should prioritise this RIGHT NOW

    Even if Rocket agrees with that, its not a solution at all. Imagine you shot a guy in the woods, then he dived into a shack. Now you slooowly approach to the shack as you keep aimimg in case he pops out. This will take a lot more than 30 seconds, probabiy couple minutes. Then when you look in, theres nothing. Now that guy just logged off and coming at you from a random direction, and since couple minutes past, he's probably about to shoot you right now. How come thats a solution now? Rocket should consider all these situations and make his best to ensure combat logging inabusable on ANY way.

    I know rocket already said that there is actually a logout timer, it's just not turned on yet. However a simple logout timer does not solve the problem. In fact it solves nothing at all. People can still hop, combat log or ghost they just have to wait couple seconds in a corner to do so. I've seen Betweenaduck's sleep idea, it sounds cool too. I remember Ultima Online had a system like that. You had to light a campfire, open a matress to log out safely. Otherwise your character would still present in the wilderness for two minutes. If you think 2 minute is too much, belive me people UO map was so much smaller than dayz map.

    Your idea sounds nice too, I agree most of it. However I still think we need some kind of indicator to see if the player is disconnecting or just standing still. Also for 90 seconds, I believe it's even short considering my fights are extremely slow-paced most of the time and both sides usually wait for minutes in a corner before doing their next move.

    Third person view removal from SA discussion

    Well the point you all guys are missing is the fact that first person view is NOT realistic AT ALL. Read below: In real life, you don't see things inside of a 2D frame, you can notice stuff on your right and left. That's because the world we see is 3 dimension and we have two eyes that can see not just the focused point, but also almost everything on a 180 angle in front of us (sure it's blurred when our eyes don't look or focus on them but still we can see objects on sides to a certain angle). However, the computer screen you're looking at is 2D and the only way to simulate this view angle is to move the viewing point to back of your character's head. The second argument is, in real life we are aware of what our body is doing right now. For example, when you are standing you know your legs are straight up, or when you are scracthing your ass, you know your hands are well, on your ass. There's no way to simulate this feeling in a computer game unless the game uses some kind of device that tracks every limb of our body. The only way to make player have this feeling is to actually show it's character to player on screen. Some fps games like CoD uses an icon to give a simple explanation of how your player character looks such as crouching or proning icon popping out on the corner. But considering there are so many animations and stances for player characters in DayZ, third person is the only way. I know you gotta be retarded not to notice whether your character is crouching or standing in DayZ but that was just an example, you got the point. Therefore, third person view is much more realistic than first person. Screw you all wannabe so-called hardcore players, you're just ruining this amazing game. Cheers.
