Tired of being the bandit stealing peoples beans, tired of getting punched unconscious by fresh spawns after giving them stolen beans... I decided to be 'that' guy. Yep, the one who makes you want to quit the game for good. Before somebody says "Don't take your frustration out on innocent people/you're ruining the game" Just know this: I don't care.

While normally I tend to agree with you when people camp/kill in Dayz, you're wrong this time. I camp/kill in Dayz because nothing else is enjoyable. Until they add more content, this is the most fulfilling thing I can do. If it upsets you, then you're taking it way too seriously.

You'd think so, but after 3 days and 10+ kills I haven't even been shot at. Must not have any good players in the game.

Now make a video showing long range accuracy, does it accept any scopes or attachments?

I don't know what "dickless combat logger" you were referring to, but I just saw 2 dead bodies. OP, your video is bad and you should feel bad.

If you've ever shot an SKS and an AR-15 side by side in real life (I have) you'd know that the SKS is by no means accurate beyone 150-200m. Scopes? Forget it. The only place you can mount them is on the rear receiver which is held in by a latch and pins. Every time you shoot, it goes off zero because something held by latches will shake and wiggle with every shot. People play too much CoD or Battlefield and instantly think the SKS is on par with sniper rifles. It's not. It fires the same round as an AK47, but is less reliable. It has more stopping power than an M4, but that is the round not the rifle. If I had to rank them in game I'd go: M4 > SKS > Mosin > Shotgun I rank them this way because stopping power means nothing if you can't hit, and unless you're 5 feet away from your target chances are you'll miss. The ability to put many rounds down range is more important than single powerful rounds, which is why the US adopted the 5.56 over the 30-06 from generations past. SKS will be fun, but it is way over-hyped.

Add a lock box to the game. A small 4-slot case (like the yellow protector case) but has a combination lock on it. A simple 4 digit number that you can set upon pickup. You may die, but you deprive bandits of their loot. Shooting a backpack with a lockbox in it will open it, but ruin its contents. This would make bandits more likely to hold people up and force the combo out of them rather than shoot'n loot. Thoughts?

I like how this is an ALPHA and people are whining that it's not what they want. Chill out, the game isn't meant to be fun or entertaining right now. Alphas are to iron out bugs and test new items. Not meant for your enjoyment. Sure, it's fun to test but don't cry because it's not what you want. Go play something else for 6 months and come back.

That has nothing to do with weapon condition. If it were ruined, it would have just clicked when attempting to fire. Either 1. You hit the wrong button or 2. the game glitched (happens to items in your hand). When a guy is shooting at you, don't talk to him. Kill him. Your fault for letting him know where you were.

Yeah, I'm not going to scroll through a ton of options to see what you put in your computer. MINIMUM: i7 2500k or AMD FX-8350 8GB RAM Nvidia Geforce 660 or better With these you can run the game just fine. If you want ideal specs, look in my sig.. but be prepared to spend $1500+

All the servers got reset to a day/night cycle. Even the servers that say 24HR DAY TIME are no longer so because they got moved to the night cycle as well. My guess is when the servers got reset, most came on at the same time starting at 00:00 so no matter what time zone the server SAYS it's in, the server clock shows the genuine time. All these will be worked out in time, don't lose your panties over it.

Really? This game was started by one guy off a mod. Not some huge gaming company like Bethesda or EA. Even major companies take a year or more to make a game. You're bitching because after 1.5 years it's still in Alpha? Tell you what, try making a game all on your own, on your own time, on your own dollar and let me know how it pans out in another year. Even Rocket has said don't buy the game right now because of its instability. Don't buy unless you're willing to help identify and work on those issues. Instead of bitching, just close Steam and go do something productive. Come here and whine about the game... what a joke.

Ok fruit aside (because it's an anomaly) I'd say no more than a month. When a mass panic occurs, people clear out houses and head out of town. Looting/rioting happens which could result in the broken windows. Military rolls through town and clears bus/cars out of the roadway leaving them in flaming wreckage on the side of the road. Give it a few weeks to settle and you get an environment just like Dayz. It doesn't take years to get to that state. Sure if we left it alone and pristine, wear and tear would make it that way in a couple years.. but with a mass exodus and panic, it would deteriorate much faster. As for the plant life, it isn't terribly overgrown. Dirt roads are still dirt roads, cracks in roadways have not spawned 3 foot weeds. Grass next to runway isn't even knee high. That isn't a sign of years of unchecked growth. I'd say less than a month, but could be two.

Lol, that's half of what I spent on my processor alone. I'm running a $1900 build and even I get graphic issues. A $300 build? Not a chance.
