If 3rd person was removed from running around and such they would have to remove it from driving. you know for the realism that this game holds to so greatly, do you have super zoom in eyes in real life!? I wish I did. -
nah you can be a squatter, go log off in a home in pusta every time and 2-3 years later you are a squatter~

keep switching servers, after about the 3rd server hop i get out of most floors/walls I fall into

the only way they are going to stop me from shooting everyone I see is to make it so my bullets dont hurt other players. short of that if I see someone I shoot them and I expect the same treatment from them. -

to bad it breaks my immersion and just like 3rd person should be removed and everyone forced to play my way because its better.

Its not realistic, its just as much cheating as 3rd person so it should be disabled on "hardcore" servers, if you guys are truly hardcore gamers and want realism it shouldnt bother you.

\Just to point something out, if I focus on a sign 20 feet away from me my eyes dont magicly zoom to the sign its just as much cheating as 3rd person and its gotta go.

its hardly hardcore if you have magic zoom eyes, 1st person cheaters is more like it.

I assume you "hardcore" players dont use the right click zoom in feature because thats just as much cheating as 3rd person. unless you have eyes that can magicly zoom in stop cheating.

What!? how can you not have a problem with this but an issue with 3rd person? can your eyes magicly zoom?! seriously 1st person only advocates are special people "3rd person is an exploit and it needs to be removed! but lets keep our super zooming in eyes those are totally realistic" this thread is to funny to read and I hope you 1st person only guys enjoy your dead servers because the majority will never play the game you want them too~

DayZ is the only multiplayer survivor game thing where you can't carry like 10 guns, WHICH IS FANTASTIC, lets keep it this way

if you think 10 guns is a lot to carry you have no idea how many guns/bullets a person can hide on them with some basic storage gear(cargo pants/big jackets/bags) -
your really preachy thinking your better then everyone because they use a feature that the devs kept in the game. calling it cheating thats funny. enjoy your dead servers!

In my opinion, the current compass is an example of over-design.

Theres more to a compass then seeing N/W/E/S there are barrings that in the current system are a pain in the ass to read. they need to change it kind of like 90% of the things in this game at the moment. -

yup gotta love having to join a low pop server just to get some beans/gear then having to hop on to a high pop server to actually play the game. great system. just so you know I'm being sarcastic the current system is a piece of shit and realism needs to be put to the side for gameplay sake. -

no they wont, look at the mod check there 1st person only servers see how dead they are? the majority of players will never play 1st person only. -
