The server i play on is in the top 15 server's. I was told the reason why they set the time for restarts for 1 hour is because the server would crash before the 2 hour restart they had it setup before. I spawn wherever I log off at.. You obviously don't know what Hot Spawning A.K.A. Server Hopping is.. I camp that airfield alot because of how many people Server Hop to there. I have moved around the map but because of the spawn locations always around Solnichy, most people stay on the coast.

lol. i don't rage that hard but yes it is annoying when you know you have someone trapped and they just log, but it is even worse when they ghost and snipe you from behind..

I understand this post is all over reddit and everywhere basically but my first few sentences asked if anyone could confirm the rumors i heard about there not being a fix, just a bandaid.. I believe someone asked about the combat logging in the last AMA on reddit and Dean said something about a timer. But all the information i can find about it is someone posting something about what he said and not the specific article.So it isnt really confirmed to me..

I agree, but with every new patch we get new items and new towns but the game breakers are just swept aside. I don't know exactly how these 3 things can be fixed or if they are an easy fix but they should be fixed ASAP considering how big of a problem they are when it comes to just testing the game..

Maybe, but these were problems in his Mod, it's his fault for not learning from his previous mistakes. But i also agree with you that people shouldn't use the exploits.

Lol, I don't KoS everyone that comes to the NEAF, only the Hot Spawner's. If you would have read the post and stop trolling then you would have understood that I am complaining about how these bugs should have been addressed before release consdiering they were big problems in the Mod.

OK, for all of you who say this is Alpha, I think i was a little late getting into the Dayz Mod but Combat logging was a big problem there, so why wasn't all the information collected from the mod used wisely to make sure the same problems were not in the SA?? Now I have looked around for these supposively fixes for these problem and all I have found is people posting thier own opinion for a fix. I did see a couple posts saying that there is some type of timer going to be implemented but I couldnt find the original from the Dev Team.

lol. I don't want to be a dick but you should have know what you are getting into.. An Alpha is an Alpha and what you are saying should be said if this game flops. not at this stage of development

how is useing 3DP to look over the wall a punishable offense? You just sound like one of those Hardcore server player's bragging about how pro they are because they only play in First person.

At both the NWAF and NEAF you will have the Hot Spawner's,a.k.a. server hopper's.. This is a normal thing right now and it will only get worse..

To be honest i haven't found any either but I really dont care about them.. They are pointless to be put into the game right now unless they are implementing something you can craft with them.

Sorry to hear that.. I had a server hopper make my day earlier.. I was at NEAF and I just got done searching one of the buildings and was about to leave when i heard the noise of a gun reloading.. I went to the first floor and the room i just searched had a door closed.. So i said i know you are in there server hopper, come out with your hands up.. he said lol, i have a surprise for you. So i decided to go outside and sit in a bush and just wait for him to come out of the building, when all of a sudden this guy comes from the hangars and stops in right by the entrance to the building.. I almost said something in direct chat but i thought to myself thats probably that server hopper trying to ambush from behind after hopping to another server, so 1 shot to the chest from my mosin put him down.. When i checked his gear he had like 8 double clips for the m4 and a 2 cases of ammo full of ammo.. I left all of it on his corpse because i like the mosin.. love this game..

Umm you are completely wrong.. You just arent looking hard enough. The best way to play this game is on a high populated server.. Yes there might not ba loot right where u spawned but all you have to do is your your brain and goto the nearest town that isnt in a straight line to NWAF or NEAF..

LOL. as someone else said.. stop server hopping.. Find a decent population server and stay there..

ok that mod is garbage.. I understand why people complain about 3rd person but just because i use an option that gives me a better tactical advantage doesn't make me any less of a gamer than someone who doesn't..

As with new item's are being implemented into the game come's the time of figuring out how to use these new item's and thing's of that nature. I have already seen a few post from frustrated people asking if they are doing something wrong because they keep losing thier mosin when trying to spray paint it. I have been at that point myself with not only Dayz SA but with the mod also.. I don't know how long it took me to not figure out what a cooking pot doesn't do or how the propane gas cooker doesn't do anything. Hell I still don't know how to use a blood bag kit or a saline bag but I really haven't had the chance to use one either.. But if I do come across that time where i need to know, then I would like to know ahead of time...Another example in the recent patch is berry picking.. WTF is that? Is there somekind of special bush that i just havent seen yet or do i just go up to any random bush? So if anyone out there that knows how to use some of the more intricate items, please help us others with some info.. I found this video about how alot of the medical and sickness stuff works.. This is VERY LONG but is VERY informative about the sickness system, which is very complex. This guide also explains alot about how food and water works.. I have seen a similar type of bug like that having to do with the spray cans.. I didn't lose the gun but the spray can was a 100% and when i switched out a weapon for another weapon the spray can went to 0%..

ok so the Dayz Forum Member says it most likely will keep your guns from getting worn but wont actually improve the qaulity of the gun but then someone tested it and it actually did improve the qaulity of the gun.. Which is it and how do we find out exactly what it does???

Yeah I am a bit confused myself. I think he is saying that a mosin should be 2-3 shot because the accuracy is horrible. But then I am not sure what 100% accuracy is on a mosin.. IDK

I want to be honest and not make this sound mean but I wouldnt really worry about that too much.. It probably won't be too long before tents and things of that nature should be added. I read an article yesterday where Dean is talking about vehicles and player made housing should be implemented within the next 6 months. I wouldn't think a tent would be considered a player made house but the texture file for tents is already in the game files, so i wouldn't think it would be to far off.

Yeah. This thread name needs to be changed or delete the thread entirely.. The only thing you talked about in this thread that has anything to do with the new patch is the spray paint mosin part.
