This is my route I take all the time from eat to west. Best way to find tents too. Currently have 3 on Experimental 1st person. Anyone need a tent? lol

Just speaking of the masses that use it. There are always exceptions to the rule. i simply won't pick up a mosin or any sniper rifle anymore because I believe they have a negative effect on DayZ game play.

Depends on your play style. The mosin is more of a camper/Bandit weapon for easy mode kills. The LRS on a Mosin is only good for one thing, sniping players from a distance. The B95 is more of a survivor weapon.

My friends and I got a session lost on the experimental build server. When we logged back in, pants and contents ruined and broken legs. Anyone else got this too?

For the people who say after you gear up there is nothing you can do, have you ever thought about HELPING new players out. It shows a lot about your character in real life what you think you should do after you're kitted. This is not BattlefiedZ or CodZ. If you are so bad at pvp games you have to come here to shoot unarmed new players.. Maybe this game isn't for you. The KOS/SOS will definitely have an effect on the future sales of this game. I have seen and heard your excuses about it's a sandbox and we play how we want to play. Fact is the developers are trying hard to discourage this behavior. (No explanation needed if you know anything about the game) Don't get me wrong, I am not saying bandits aren't needed and a fun way to play.. but have some honor in your profession. Those that just snipe players from afar to get their kicks should really seek professional help. Maybe you have issues in your life..

You are correct, I should have used reduce instead of remove. I was talking though from the ears of the person being shot. At any range beyond CQB, it would be very quiet and hard to get a bearing on the shot direction BTW.. I have never played cod, so thanks for sharing some of that games info with the group..

They would still remove the gunshot sound/Muzzle flash and all you should hear is the supersonic crack of the bullet. Not giving you a good direction of where the shot originated from.

Then we have the thread nazi that come in and post off topic comments and pollute threads about the search function. Maybe if there is 1000 threads about a topic, it might be something important. Sorry if my thread offended you so much.

Actually, i just thought of a rather simple script that could run in a public hive to stop ghosters. Since the database knows your current location and you server (IP), there could be a script that if a player leaves one server and logs into another server.. moves a distance, them comes back to a previous server, the player could be rendered unconscious. There could be a minimum distance a player would need to travel before it would be turned off. Say like 1km. Just an idea..

Let me preface this by saying no ghoster has ever killed me.. I'm not that stupid.. if I engage with another player and they combat log, I don't stay in the same area. It is very sad to see the number of people who brag about server hopping and ghosting behind players to get kills. This is an alpha phase of the game and using a known exploit over and over again just because it hasn't been removed yet is so juvenile. It is very sad to see the lack of honor displayed by some. It comes down to a mentality that it's ok to cheat if you don't get caught.. When players lack the skill required to play games, they rely on cheats and exploits to level the playing field. Usually in most Alpha/Beta phases of game development and testing, if people continue to use exploits, they are banned...
