The update on Monday is a fact, however I can't say anything about the Vehicles. The devs MAY have said something, but I haven't heard it if they have. Hope I could help :3

-1 Arma engine just does NOT go with consoles. PLUS the controls in this game are so different to other games that you would not be able to fit them all onto a controller anyway without having to remember mind-boggling combinations. If you brought this into the console market it would just be a KoS frenzy anway...

I believe they probably think you're offering them some sort of safety. "A guy with a gun hasn't shot me yet? He must be friendly! He'll protect me from the bandits :O" Escort them to a town and tell them to have a look around. Leg it whilst they're looting a building if you have to hehe

Very few people I run into are friendly, but I have met some. I have a feeling that the majority of the bandits have no interest in testing the game and so therefore would have not signed up on the forums. These poll results will be really inaccurate. -Pacifist Survivor

He can say anything he wants. For all we know, he may have been tagging along with you. I don't say this is enough proof to get him banned imho.

It's because this game is so drastically different from the current games. Whereas you can go play a FPS game like BF or CoD, DayZ is more of a social experiment. The goal is not to kill everybody, but it gives you the option to do so. How many games can you list that give you a gun, but don't force you to shoot it. How many games can you list start you list make you ENJOY running? Change is good. DayZ is better!

I'm afraid you can't just report hackers without any evidence. Next time, maybe try and record him :/

If your PC is brilliant, I recommend Fraps. It has unmatched quality but drains a duck load of power. If your PC is decent, I recommend either Dxtory or Bandicam pro as they have good quality, and do not drain much power at all. If your PC is rubbish, please don't record. Nobody wants to watch a choppy video. Hope I could help! :)

Not this forum, but the official DayZ reddit page. Why would you have it here too? Everything you guys have posted about (crossing things off that are definitely not confirmed, list of well known suggestions) is on that page. The reddit page probably gets more views anyway ;_;

ALPHA* EDIT: After watching the video I would actually recommend it to those who are raging. Might keep this in my bookmarks and paste the link into certain threads xD

What happens when that server closes down? What happens when that server is empty and you don't want to play by yourself? What happens when you want to play with your friend on another server? What happens when that server is under a hacker attack, and you want to leave and enjoy yourself another time? What happens when you get extreme lag on a server? What happens when that server hasn't updated to the latest patch and you have? Too many times when I've needed to switch server and keep my character. I would hate for all servers to be character specific, although you do bring some valid points to the table. Private Hives (Currently only accessible on DayZ Mod) had characters locked to their own servers (I think?), so maybe wait until they come out here too!

If only I could run into people like these... You were lucky ^.^
