If your friend is unconscious, you can use the blood blag and draw blood from your friend then combine an IV kit and re-administer it to him/her and it will bring them back,

I spent 2 hours trying to meet up with my friend. I was at the northeast of the map and I was running North thinking he was north of me running south. Turns out he was at the military base at the southwest corner of the map. we both went kitty-corner past the newb graveyard and met in the middle. -

Bad connections? I live in the middle of redneck Florida. I pay $30/mo for 1.0MBps Windstream Internet. It took me all of 12 hours to download DayZ but I have a latency of~90ms when I play. Today, my friend brought his computer over and we both played on the same server on my crappy internet with no de-sync. Don't tell me about bad connections. Ban the suckers.

As far as damage, I'm not sure but the firefighter axe is known in the industry as a "pick axe" and you can use it to open cans. -

Cannot find my own body after I respawned

I found one by the lighthouse by Electro. Had default starting gear on him. -
For me, I had to equip it to my hands (I'm not sure if it has to be completely empty, but mine was) and raise it to the pump. I then got the scroll wheel option and use that and select refill. I have only done this to the pump, I have yet to find out how to do it with a pond.

I've seen a tent already near spawn on the coast by the sawmill/quarry. Nothing it it

I successfully used a blood bag to revive my friend. It was weird because I drew blood from him and gave it back to him and it revived him.
