I drank it once. My friend said to try purified water (use the tablets). I did that and ate some fresh fruit. Then I ate more food and found a water well and drank until I was full. My "sick" status went away after a few minutes and about 20 minutes later I had a "healthy" status. I'm not sure if any of this is related or if I was just lucky, but there it is.

Ditto. If your computer is going to last for a few years, don't skimp out. Because then you will have to put up with crap products for a couple years versus waiting another month or so for more money and getting something good. Remember: "you get what you pay for" and "quality doesnt cost, it pays".

You've got it all wrong. a 7.62x54r is nothing but. There are no other names for it. the "Russian 7.62" or "Soviet 7.62" is the 7.62x39, which is used in the AK-47. A 7.62x51mm NATO and .308 Winchesters are TWO completely different rounds. The 7.62x51 NATO was derived from the .308 Winchester. It typically has less pressures due to a thicker brass wall and less powder. A .308 Winchester is a .308 Winchester. It CAN be interchanged with the 7.52x51 NATO, but there some circumstances where you can and cannot, depending on chamber of the firearm, power, brass thickness, etc. It is the same thing as .223 Remingon vs 5.56x45 NATO. -

Saline is 0.9% sodium chloride (table salt). I've cut one open and tasted it, its a little less salty than pool water. It is used as a base for injecting drugs, but by itself is used to combat dehydration and hypovolemia. So it can/should restore blood AND water, but the numbers right now are a little wacky. I think a blood transfusion should give A LOT more blood than a saline bag, whereas a saline bag should give A LOT more water than a blood bag.

I have over 702 rounds on me right now. M4 with 6 full mags, FNX, Magnum, Mosin and two ammo cans filled to the brim.

I've got a Magnum with 6 rounds and another 60 rounds of .357. I've found more but left them since everything else (5.56 and .45 ACP) are more useful to me.

I accidentally ate charcoal tabs yesterday and got a sick status. Ate a couple of fresh fruit and topped off on water from a nearby well and it went away.

Nope. On Mosins, they were sighted from the factory WITH the bayonets attached. If you took it off, the aim would be off to the right IIRC.
