Title says all. I'm looking to join a group/clan of players who play DayZ Origins. I'm from the US and I'm over 18. If you have any more questions, I don't mind answering just send me a pm.

There's already a Morgan Freeman, I'm sure there will be a Denzel Washington soon and people will be looking for his book.

I can't think of any kind words to describe people like this, but they are the ones who witness a "bambi" getting shot by a "bandit" and then they make a thread talking about how this game is dead because of KoS. Little did they know the "bambi" was actually a bandit who respawned and started punching the guy who was on the coast giving out gear to these "bambis". I thought a bambi was supposed to be harmless but what people call a bambi 99% of the time (respawns) are not harmless at all.

This may not help you and it may be harder to do for some than others, but in situations like this, it's best to remain calm and think about everything that's going on. Pay attention to the little details like how many times she asked for ammo and if they shot at her or not. You should NEVER fully trust someone, usually their voice/what they are saying hints towards their true nature.

I went to the coast to give out food, water, and other supplies. 1/3 fresh spawn tried to run up to me and punch me but failed and all the other spawns were like "why did you shoot him he had nothing".....

Kos'rs With A Kill On Their Doorstep? Or Misunderstanding?
Yahiko (DayZ) replied to over9000nukez's topic in General Discussion
This. But there are true heroes out there who are still going to try to help no matter what but since they are very rare their efforts go unnoticed. -
Kos'rs With A Kill On Their Doorstep? Or Misunderstanding?

In this game there are bandits, fake heroes, and heroes. Fake heroes are the people who claim to be hero but whine about KoS and tell everyone they quit being a hero. They are also the ones who go around shooting everyone with a gun on the coast because those guys are "bandits". That wasn't a misunderstanding, you either ran into bandits or fake heroes. -
And people like you who don't whine and rage into becoming a bandit are the true heroes of the game. As long as people like you are around, this game will be fine. I believe the number of heroes will slowly start to increase, and before you know it bandits will not be as much of an issue as they are now. I don't think there's anything wrong with KoS but I guess since there aren't many true heroes out there it seems to be a larger issue than it really is.

Hmm. In the end cowards are those who follow the dark side. -
One Kill On Sight Thread To Rule Them All!
Yahiko (DayZ) replied to Grimey Rick's topic in General Discussion
When I read threads like this, I think of all the people who complain about kill on sight. I think about the ones who go around server hopping to gear up and then get killed on the coast because they were trying to share gear with bambis. I then think about the bambis who go around pretending to be friendly waiting for the right moment to kill these "heroes" stopping on the coast to share loot. I then think about these "heroes" that complain being a hero is hard and it isn't rewarding (true heroes don't do it for the reward). It all makes sense. There are heroes out there who understand the game (don't whine or complain)There are people who pretend to be heroes because they want to be called heroThere are bandits who don't trust anyone (makes sense)There are bandits who take banditry to a whole new level (spawn camping) and only the heroes who understand the game can stop them -
I remember the Justice League telling everyone to be villains because being a hero was difficult.

DayZ is NOT fun for new players, which makes me worried.
Yahiko (DayZ) replied to Murakamo's topic in General Discussion
Whenever a friend asks me about DayZ I explain to them it is extremely difficult for new players to learn the map/gameplay. I explain to them this game is a mixture of pvp and pve and that they should trust no one. All of my friends understood what they were getting into before they played the game. -
I've seen people spare a bambi who followed them, found a weapon, and killed them. It's not hard in this game to find an axe, sprint into a house, and kill someone who is geared while they are looting. No point in taking the risk. That's how some people see it.

DayZ is FailZ (Lacklustre Infected comment)
Yahiko (DayZ) replied to Spidey (DayZ)'s topic in General Discussion
Yeah the game is in alpha but there are so many bugs! There shouldn't be bugs in alpha! They need to have some sort of notification to tell you that the game is unfinished and there will be bugs... OH WAIT <_< -
Stories like this make me want to get on and play the game... After I've already played it for 8 hours straight
