Blood on the character would be good, or maybe a bit more dirty or torn up clothing? Maybe something like pale skin? (lack of sleep because of guilt?) An overall YES for me, try it! -

YES Despite the obvious fact that bandits will have an easier time now, this will add the hardcore realism we all want! And, if we kill a bandit now, he'll have a harder time!:D -

Since patch 1.5.8.2 i can no longer place tents... i have tried really open, flat clearings with nothing around, it should work because i had a tent there before... Anyone else having this problem? will there be a fix? It took ages finding the second tent, and no we can't place it..

That wouldn't work. The zeds moving towards flares even during daytime adds another level of tacticallity. You can throw a flare out of your way in order to pull zeds away. The flares at night will attract zeds, so you'll think twice about throwing lots of flares around.

Maybe players won't even spawn knowing their bloodtype, but they'll have to find something to test it first. like a syringe and a testing strip. And if you then use bloodbags before you know your bloodtype, you'd either get lucky and use the right one, or get some sort of disease.

I agree, people are getting butthurt over waiting, and that is understandable in some regard. However, people seem to be forgetting that this is; an alpha, and that rocket has a life outside of this. He's doing all this work, making this fantastic mod for the gaming community, and he's doing it all for free. So just be patient, the update will come, and if he merges 1.5.8 with 1.5.9 the update will be even more awesome!

+1 for this idea, it will add so much to this already amazing game! Imagine sitting near a campfire in the wilderness after barely escaping death in a village. You would be able to write down what you went through, how you lost those precious last rounds, or how that one can of beans you had left, tasted so good after the battle. Or getting desperate, not believing you will live much longer. Low blood level, the shakes and no painkillers or food to go around. Lost, no more sense of direction due to the lack of vision, you die. Probably no one will ever find you diary, but if they will.. They might even feel bad for you. This is a great idea!

Bandit/Survivor Morphing to be removed

This can go either really well, or turn out horrible. Since no one can see whether or not your humanity is negative now, everybody will shoot everybody. What i used to do, was trust the people on teamspeak, let survivors pass without letting them see me, and shooting bandits on sight. Now i can't anymore though. But people won't know of me whether or not i'm bandit, so they'll blindly shoot me as well... Oh well, just a temporary update i guess :) -

I agree with all these things! The fact that zeds wont be able to see as well in the dark will actually create an insentive to play during night time. You will be able to get the zeds out of your way with flares, get in and get out quick. Also, the persistence would be brilliant! Too often have i died because i ran out of ammo, and with the increased zeds in 1.5.7 i find myself out of ammo a lot of the time. Therefore, if the zeds at some point give up you'd have a chance (all be it a small one) to survive their terror! -

groups dont freaking matter you dont have enough ammo to survive hes going to lose his fan base because you cant play the game not every one has people to play with' date=' how do you expect people to even group up with that many zeds [/quote'] You are new here aren't you? 2 weeks ago, the zombie counts were up to 1500+ You had to THINK before you acted, The airfield was the most hostile territory around, especially on your own. You couldn't hop around the military camp in stary because the zeds would swarm you! You had to stay prone in towns, wait for the zeds to get out of your way. It's even better now, you now even have to use cans, whiskey bottles and smoke grenades to distract the zeds. This update made everything so much more intense, awesome and terrifying! Bandits are a lot less abundant and they even group up with survivors because they're afraid of dying. Keep it up Rocket, this might be an accident, it's an awesome one at that! oh, and happy birthday! -
I lost a m4a2 cco, a coyote backpack, 4 pieces of meat, a revolver with plenty of ammo a tent a gps and other utilities because of this, so yes, do implement it!

I don't know whether this is possible or not, but if it is, please do add this devs! This would add so much to the game! Walking through a city and spotting some footprints, checking to see if they're fresh, getting scared when you see they are. Being around a village and see a small path carved through the grass, then shells on the ground and blood, a trail, leading to a dead survivor giving you a idea of what happened to the poor fellow. +1 for this idea!
