I am in the middle of a research paper, and over the course of a month it has been fascinating to see where I have changed tense from present to past to future seemingly at random. There's a neat study, somewhere in there.

I was on a server a week or so ago that was raining constantly... would have sucked to have been detrimental to the player's health as most folks would happily leave the server for sunnier skies.

I was a little bit surprised that they increased the Z's speed and made them heat-seeking missiles without first fixing their wall-hacking.

That's weird, Jack. I probably get the "not receiving message" error once or twice every hour or so that I play.

It is pretty bad. They still cannot climb most stairs, but the servers are so laggy now that trying to open the fucking door to lead to a stairwell means you WILL get bit three times and they WILL clip under the stairs and carry on the chase forever.

Had five teport on me, glitch through the walls and whatever other obstacles I tried to hide around. Then the server resets. Found a new server, waited a while to respawn, then I am getting chased all over again. I realize after shooting a few that they are literally respawning in the train that's following me. At some point, even with a pretty good lead, I start taking damage and bleeding from nothing. Phantom zombies, on top of everything else. My character is dead, now. And no doubt will spawn on a completely lootless coast whenever I play again. As that also seems to be somewhat bugged. Why wouldn't you fix the damned zombies from wall hacking before you make them run faster than us?

What a terrible day in Day Z, for me. No loot, two characters die under shitty circumstances, and the new zombies are now teleporting at three times the speed.

Yeah, I cannot understand this change. Hoping it is a technical issue and not some sort of stupid decision.

Flecktarn is incredible camo for my area (Deep South). Just a few feet off road and I can be near invisible. Would love it in DayZ.

Out of principal, I won't touch anything Rocket gets involved with. If the DayZ servers just shut down tomorrow, I would want a refund, for sure. I am cautiously optimistic at this point that while the game will never leave Beta before being abandoned, we might at least have more stuff to do.

I have seen tons of obvious connection issues but no obvious hackers... I must be lucky. Or smart enough to avoid bandits?

Police, as a general rule, are remarkably poor marksmen, in my experience. It obviously isn't a huge qualifier for the job.
