Nobody is judging you but I can if you'd like. I find it super hard to sit and listen to someone say "I watch motherfuckers through my scope all day and do nothing".. At this stage in the game nobody feels attached to their gear because of people who do what? Kill.. If Zombies are you choice of death please uninstall. I see people in the woods running around as well, usually looking for a good place to hide so they don't get ghosted when they do what? Kill. You say you don't kill but you have no problem killing those who don't adhear to your typical playing style hence "looking around to see what they are doing" to me, that is a person who is judging others, basically making you the pot calling the kettle black. Not everyone I've met is bad, Just most of them, which I've clarified, and stated this post topic might have been a little blunt, or overbearing. I help my group survive, I don't care if you look down your scope over the city and see me killing some asshat, might be you if your cowering in some bushes looking my way. My goal is the survival of the group I play with, not to help the loner in the woods waiting for an chance to justify shooting someone from afar..

Thing is people don't want your help, or at least mine wasn't wanted. I say this, You play a medic, you'll be killed ungreatfully, you play nice feeding the needy, you'll be killed ungreatfully.. Most of the time, you will be killed.

There was this time I was in kamyshovo helping out a spawn his words were exactly "I'm suprised you didn't kill me, most people do".. I ended up killing him because he was rather annoying. You just never know when your going to pull the trigger. I'd given this guy a canteen, food, saline, clothes... shit.. Edit: Needless to say I suppose, he was pissed, and I was rather relieved.

Crazy, you know I'm not all bad, we've held people up. I would say that our groups main focus is taking out the assholes of the game. I suppose in turn this makes us somewhat assholes, but then.. I can hear that dude, "I gave you a gun!!!" "Whyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!" Some people are so naive.

I given a dude a gun before and he tried to shoot me (no bullets, click click) .. I've also been knocked the hell out and had my gun taken and i was killed. I've also given people food. I've also had people run away from me when I tried to give them a gun. I have killed people alot, helped people alot. I've learned this is a game about opportunity, in that, if you can get shit quicker by offing someone you take the shot, or axe the dude, or punch him. Survival isn't hard playing way out in the middle of no where, however the challenge is living through a rival squad in one of the games major cities. I'm suprised by the responses of the forum, I do appreciate that not everyone is an asshole, as the game does need some balance. You have to admit whether I'm right in your eyes or wrong in your eye's that the vast majority of players would just as soon kill you rather than deal with you, since with a weapon you could just do the same to them. Most encounters I've had with armed individuals has ended with me or them dying, usually they are lining up the shot or getting into position on "the hill". At the end of the day, as has been said time and time again. To live you must kill, and by that I mean other survivors.

I apologize, you said helping other's.. Help them by giving them your gun. Or do you think that would be a bad idea? If so why? The combat timer that people are bitching about, why is that implemented? It is purely for pvp, and nothing to do with helping people. So what is your main focus in the game? Have fun dropping food off for those that could give zero fucks. I know where to go when I'm hungry I guess?, yay me. Read some stories, bandits held me up, disinfectant spray, rotten food, take all my loot then kill me, assholes on sniper hill. Meanwhile your running around the coast with a fully loaded weapon dropping food off to people. Why not give them your gun?, you don't need it. Everyone in game is so fucking nice that more than likely they will just take it and walk away. I mean that's really doing someone a favor right? They don't want your fucking beans, they want your fucking gun. You wanna know why Solodude? So they can go kill fuckers like everyone else. Regards...

Helping who? people aren't stupid. There is a map, there is food in homes, there are weapons at mlitary bases... All you assholes do is go make spawns "spread-um) to get your kicks and drop them a can of food. You're no saint, your just not killing people. God, if everyone would just go feed these "needy" Dayz players I'm sure it would end KOS for ever. I think that "SOME PEOPLE" are full of shit.

TBH, feeding the needy is bullshit, all your doing is using position power.. Go feed the needy, and show off your weapons... It's no worse than killing anyone.. Nobody in this game is "Needy"... Freaking weirdos

And let's also be honest, Zombies at this point are hardly a threat. It's the people you have to watch out for...

i try and surivive, kill zombies and just adventure around, im not here for a deathmatch, i just literally don't see any point in killing people in this game. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You probably rage daily then. I see no reason for a gun if you intend soley on killing Zombies, it's a one hit axe situation, as where a gun gives away your position to those that pvp...

I just find it odd, that everyone on this forum acts as if they are so kind and helpful. I guess if I created a thread that said "Let's be honest, we are all nice and helpful" I would get flamed by the people who kill saying that I generalized everyone as a kind player. When I said "Try to be honest" That's an open door for you to say "I am being honest, I play nice".. I put it up this way to show all of you something. I have yet to say, your full of shit, I did however generalize denial. The reason is simple, if you play to loot and survive which I would say is a good bit of people, you also must take lives. Meaning, hey, this asshole is shooting at me, fight or flight? This forum and the posts that I've seen would indicate that most people beat feet, however, in my case it's not that way. Go into any populated server in this game, you will be shot at most of the time. Run up on any dude with a gun while you have nothing, or a gun, you will be shot most of the time. I am not attempting to start a pissing contest between what you think you know, and what you know. I am trying to show the community that people, do kill most of the time when they can. You wanted a reason and I will now tell you why... The reason is many things, I kill just because, I kill because everyone assumes everyone is a cold blooded killer, I kill because someone has better gear. I get killed because I didn't listen to the armed guy when I was a newspawn. I happens all the time. In short, saying the vast majority of the people are kind and giving is garbage. Once again, please tell me what servers you are playing in that everyone is so kind, because I have yet to personally find one. The same people who say they play nice have also assumed or generalized my play style .Please understand, I am generalizing my overall personal time in game, it might not be you. I personally apologize to those that are offended by my post, but playing a game with guns and other characters with guns usually ends with getting shot. I've yet to have a zombie kill me, it's either been a glitch or another player. Most of the time it's not a glitch. What kills you most? Ask yourself that question, you might then find value in this post. EDIT: If you survive on the very edges of the map, your not really surviving, your avoiding and waiting for server resets to re loot. If I wanted to play solo and avoid other people I'm sure I could do it with ease. I didn't start a group because everyone is so damn nice, I started a group for protection and assume they joined to have numbers as well.

I do, I've left the coast many times, but when I spawn in Kamyshovo I need to run to electro for food. Most of the time this leads to my death. Bascially I decided to form a group that would take out the assholes. They are great people, the one's that I wanted to play with all along. Now the ten active people in my group agree, most people, (which should have been the title) want to kill you. They don't even want your gear, they just want a kill under the belt. I personally will kill them right away. I watch the hill and for people with other bad intentions. If I saw a group of dudes run up on a new spawn, then let him go, I would not fire. If I saw one dude or ten dudes off a newspawn for no reason I would open fire. My death usually comes with doing good things, if good things can be chalked up to killing jerks. Now if the spawn was attacking a geared dude for no reason, knocked him out and starts looting him, I will kill the spawn, and might help the geared dude. It really just depends. Sometimes they're both bad.
