That is known yes, but there are plenty of makeshift items anyone could use in RL or GL. You could use one of those metal shelfs that are everywhere in the game e.g. the shelves in hospitals...or one could use a branch on a tree...or if desperate enough you could softly bite the top of the bag with your teeth. All the elevation for is gravity, you don't need it elevated for the initial injection. The injection itself is as simple as any injection. Have you ever been administered saline? The bag isn't even connected at first. Thus, needing it steady is false. They inject you with the injector and pop in the connector. The connectors are universal and on every saline bag, at least in the US anyway. IV connectors are plug and play. A monkey could do it.

We get it about player interaction, but lets not alter probable reality to make a point. All you need to do is inject yourself, junkies do it everyday like 5x/day. The only difference is the needle is connected to a bag.

Bled a few x and my screen color is horrid. Took blood via blood bag off a friend and he was low too. Complete risk as we don't know each others blood types. But I can't stand the lack of color any longer and willing to risk death to fix it. Well, he almost died. He passed out and I revived him with my one and only saline bag [i didn't know prior it heals you]...he wakes up and says wow my color is back. I have him transfuse me [as I couldn't do it myself] and I got some color back, but not much. Now we're looking for saline bags as top priority. Super rare. We've scoured the entire north...nothing. Scoured the east coast...nada. Hit every single hospital...nil. Whats the deal with hospitals anyway? Hardly ever anything inside. I know they get looted but I've been on servs right after the restart and there is absolutely nothing in there so its not a question of it being looted, its the loot table probability. I'm also playing on SG and SE servers with low pop...approx 5-10 players so I doubt its all been looted. Also, my character is hungry every 3 minutes and I stay full but receive zero regen. I'm talking 4 hours of play with zero regen. Is the regen active? I thought it was, could be wrong though. Anyhow, anybody have intel on the best or most common places saline bags show up? Any help is appreciated.

Thx for the reply. I think I'm full man. I don't go by the bottom left text, I'm going by what it says in my inventory. It'll say Hungry or Thirsty in green or red. I eat/drink until those disappear. If those aren't real indicators of hunger/thirst then yes...I guess your right. I've been logged in a hospital right after a restart and still nothing in there.

Hall said that for all the little 10 year-olds that cry over spilt milk. As it is now, its much better than the mod ever was. I honestly don't think I could ever play the mod again. Quit pussyfooting around and buy it!!!

I think your math is off. My friend was laying down doing something with his inventory so I was covering him. We were in the middle of two tree's. Not in the branches, just open ground. I know distances pretty well in the game, I know how far 300 meters is from playing so much of the mod. Now I'm telling you w/o a doubt we hadn't stirred up any zeds prior, complete stealth...and this one zed see's us from at least 300 yards. Probably more. I tell my friend a zed is coming so hurry up. He looks around and says I don't see anything, where is it...I tell him its on the way lol. I get zeds aggro at closer distances all the time too and not running, crouched slow walk will do it. If the moon is in line with the sun I can creep on a zeds backside and wack them before they see me. Real number here is more like 15%-20%.

I use Motioninjoy app with a PS3 controller and its fine. My friend uses an Xbox controller with no mapper and it works fine. Only bug is you can't use right trigger to melee...actually you can't use any button on a controller as of now to melee attack. Bummer.
