I have a full map and im somewhat familiar with the map but you cant expect me to know the woods like in the middle of a forest well enough to find my way back. You know all the forests well enough to find yourself back?

So i found a tent and im looking for a spot to place it. But it just hit me that after i place it i have no reference of where to find my tent later on. How do i know my exact cords on the map in the middle of a forest? What do you guys do, am i missing something here? You would need to know the exact cords of your location so you can jot it down after you place the tent in order to be able to come back to your base, right? Help please.

So if i were to pitch up a tent on a non-persistent server and the server does its usual 2 hour restart or whatever, when i log back in the pitched tent will have disappeared? Also, ive noticed that its much harder to find loot in persistent servers. Does the persistence of the server effect the actual spawn of loot as well? If i loot a house of all its items and the server restarts, will the items have re-spawned, or is me looting that house persistent and the house will be empty until Wednesday?

Lol thought of this as well. I support this. They have already made the character a lot more realistic with sicknesses and such. The only thing left would be pissing and shitting. Why not, we're practically there.

A shorter day/night cycle would definitely make more sense! I have been wanting this since the mod. 6 or 8 hours. Let's admit it, you don't want to be playing a game that simulates real life to that degree where your hours are just as long. Beside the fact that it's inconvenient for some people to be playing at night every time they log on due to their schedule, or vice versa and never see nighttime, your character is already set at a faster paced timing than real life with him being hungry and thirsty every 1-2 hours. They should go based off that and make it either a 6 or 8 hour cycle. That would basically equal 3 meals a day with 6 hours. 4 hours day 2 hours night. Perfect. Otherwise with the current 24 hour cycle who eats and drinks 20 times a day?

The reason for that is because you are in-game when the particular server you are on is 3 hours in without a restart. I bet you also dont' find any loot. If you've ever been in an server restart you'll see plenty. A small town like Kamenka has about 10. And for a fresh spawn, trying to loot that town = death. You run into a house for cover they come right behind you. You try to run further away you attract more zombies. Besides, its not only about the danger. Its about the overall feel of the game. The game will definitely feel more solid. I know its just an alpha but still.

Zombies running through everything should be the #1 priority. I think with the following problem fixed, the game will really come together as a really playable game for the most part. Most every other bug is really minuscule and doesn't affect gameplay unless you get unlucky. This really is the most obvious and gameplay impacting bug. I think they should put a pause on everything and get this fixed ASAP. I would love nothing more than to run into a house and shut the door behind me when a zombie is chasing me. This will also be extremely refreshing for everyone that has also played the mod because we have been dealing with this for how long now? A very long time. No one notices it because we're used to it. Imagine the relief when its fixed. Wow.
