Hey. I never played the dayz mod so i have no idea of what "game rules" servers used and people really liked. What i really would like to see, is servers being able to set a respawn timer. So for example if you die, you would have to wait, 15-20 minutes to respawn on that server/hive. What do you think about such an idea? is it too restrictive?

I don't think you should be able to loot your own corpse, so that would work out very well for me :) Because it fits the nature of the game. Adding value to life and punishment to death.casing point, the above poster being afraid to not be able to die, and run to his corpse.

Yes the scope works. Try right clicking. Sometimes it bugs tho, and you look down iron sights still and the scope is blocking the view, is this what is happening? and no. You need to count the shots fired! I usually reload as soon as i can even with only 1 round spent. Guns using mags show bullets tho.

It's clearly his opinion.. Cool the attitude. I for one agree with him. Currently hitting with your hands is far superior to what i feel fitting relative to the rest of the game. And before you go raging again, no i am not claiming this is some ultimate truth. Using this as your main approach to gearing, is right up there with things like server hopping

Are the rounds ruined? You look through optics the same way you look down iron sights.. Right click! As far as i know there is only one type of 7.62 round in game

I don't really find that to be a rewarding gameplay. Having to have a helmet to combat something overpowered. If, on the other hand i was able to block a hit, or deflect it, then i would be all okay, with the 1-2 hit to the head knockouts. But currently, as long as his aim is true, a hit will always land. In reality it is more like 1 out of 10 swings that land clean. Not to talk about the hits always landing at full force regardless of circumstance

I don't see outside communication as circumventing a game restraint. I find that notion foolish at best. I regularly play with my friend physically near me. So the question that really needs asking is, what benefits will the game get by arbitrarily limiting something that seems natural to the gaming scene?

I am not overly fond of people who think they know the "better" or "right" way to play a game.. Especially a sandbox game like this.. I am sorry, and this might sound harsh, but you people really need to get over yourselfs. Your opinions do matter, but outside communication is not really something a developer can, or should ever tread on. So this whole debate can never equate to more than a lot of people getting mad at eachother

You say it is a problem. I say it is something so common to the gaming world, that any sane developer would stay far away from calling it cheating, or unwanted. The people want to be able to communicate freely, regardless of what game they are playing. You are right, that the game contains radio mechanics. I would argue they are for immersion and not as a game limit. When there is functioning radio system up and running, i will sure as hell be having fun with it. Regardless of my ability to communicate outside of the game. Restricting peoples ability to use outside communication is a bad move. You just wait and see, if the developers ever talk about this, they will surely agree. And for the last time. It is not cheating. It might not be fair play. But nothing makes it cheating, other than you not liking it!

Lets get this out of the way first: There is nothing currently in place that makes using a 3rd party chat cheating. The second thing we need to get out of the way is, they will never be able to enforce such rules. Skype, and many other "voip" services are protected under law as a phoneline or an email account, depending on the country. In Denmark for example, a tos or eula saying you need to withdraw such rights are by default null and void. But this entire nonsense aside... what do you anti voip people think about people playing together in the same room? what now?

It is hardly a 3rd world by either the old political term or the more modern based on infrastructure and wealth. We are seeing police stations, schools, office buildings. far reaching infrastructur regarding roads and railroads. High level of industrialization.

I have over 800 games. about 15 i play regularly. around 50 i play once in a while. If i were to be banned in any of those games, it would be pretty damn unlikely that i would have an active account on their forum. ontopic.. vac bans means you need to talk directly to steam

I would say the .45 is by far the most viable out of the two. But i tend to use the magnum just for the feels of it

To bandage yourself just right click the bandage / rags and wait for the menu, then press use. Do not drop it in "your vicinity" this is the ground! :)
