Big thanks for sharing the game tracker link!! Simply put, using the in-game server browser make me want to pull the hair I no longer have so this should be very helpful. :beans:

Only have one silly question regarding persistence: Lets say I go on "Official DayZ server xxxx", leave a bag full of items or a tent, change server. I won't find it on the other server right? Its a stupid question but considering our characters are saved on the server side, thought I'd asked "just in case" ha ha :P

Is there any "trick" to make it more enjoyable to use? Personally, my history + favorite tabs are simply not working. I usually like to stick to the same servers and hopefully encounter more than once the same cool players. I'm aware of the file DayZProfile in my documents\dayZ folder will show the IP of the very last server you used but its hardly a proper history. Furthermore, on the server tab, if I click "refresh", sometimes I'll have dozens of server instantly appearing. However some other times nothing comes unless I go back to the main menu and reopen the server browser. This is rather frustrating considering the fact servers restart so frequently forcing you to pick another one. Questions for my fellow survivors out there! - These glitches affect everybody, correct? - Is there a trick to make this work at least partially a bit better? - I heard that the dayZ mod had third party tools to help such as "DayZcommander" or "DayZLauncher", can we use these in DayZ SA or maybe something else???? I know alpha and stuff, I have no doubt they'll fix it sooner or later. I just want to know if there is any trick I might not be aware of meanwhile :) Thanks in advance for any response and oh.... Having the same issues than you have Zing Freelancer. I think until its fixed, I'll follow the advice from SmashT and make a list like you do. I usually orbit around 4,5 servers that have cool names, useful MOTD and fun players. Sometimes they won't appear in my server list, hence the need for the IP and a list like you do :)

It will totally do for now, thanks a lot SmashT. I wasn't aware of the \serverbrowser_hist.vdf file, it already helps a lot! At least I can see more than my very last server from now on.

I can open cans with everything now almost to the point that on certain run, obesity is my main problem in this post apocalyptic era :lol:

I don't think I can agree with Bean King to say having all items in Pristine is a good aspect of 0.50 but I see what you mean, its nice to have it easy once in a while :)

Anyone had the opportunity to use the welding mask as a protection against a flash grenade? I wonder if it changes anything. I'd do it myself but I just never found a flash grenade so far.

Interesting graphic bug makes this military base added a little bit of spooky touch :) As I approached, the red sphere disappeared. (Latest Nvidia driver - Win 7 - GTX 670)

While the game download, I'd recommend watching forum post beginner guides and video beginner guides too, it will avoid some confusion / frustration from the alpha such as non activated features still having items in game but you don't know how to use them.

Am playing alone for now as well and it is totally worth it if you are okay with bugs, some frustration and confusion from unfinished features. Considering the unique aspect of the game and low price, even if you end up preferring to wait for patches, it's still a cool game.

I try to avoid killing on sight except if desperate. If possible, engage conversation if the other person is cooperative.

Not everything is accurate but overall it is very good tips. Thanks for taking the time to share!
