    How Do You React?

Usually when I get shot at, or shot, I yell an expletive and try and find cover to bandage. I was at NW airfield one time where I was shot 3 times, by 3 different people, and still managed to find cover and bandage. I did get away, but barely.
  2. Players have to wait 5 minutes to switch from one server to another. When logging out they have to wait 1 minute before their character is actually logged out. Reasons People Server Hop 1. I'm being shot at, or a I am being chased by a giant horde. *This is just wrong, you reap what you sow when it comes to zombies, and when you get shot at find cover and retreat. 2. I am a bandit and I want to log out so that I can spawn in behind some cornered prey. *1 minute log out time means they have to at least take cover, 10 minute wait time from server hopping gives the "prey" time to escape. 3. I'm sick of waiting for loot to spawn, i'll just server hop. *5 minute wait time between servers will make this stupid practice more dull and hopefully will deter those with short attention spans.
  3. The PvP problem is simply human nature. Weapons + People = Violence Towards each other, and towards everything else. Violence can only be controlled with counter violence, or social controls (i.e. Police, Prisons). The Zombie Apocalypse means that any social controls were lost. Social controls seek to take away either weapons or humanity (freewill) from the equation in order to keep violence from being the result. Rocket has already stated that he doesn't wish to implement in the game any type of system that takes away the freewill of the players. And any attempts to take away guns would be unpopular. Essentially there is no solution, PvP is a fact. If people wish to being some kind of order to the servers that they play on, they will need to create the social controls that once existed. Police forces, militias, security forces etc... These forces would not stop PvP, but would use counter violence against Bandits in order to create a sense of peace for the rest of their server.

    Rampant Hacking

Yah, we used to have a base on Seattle 8 server. It was in the middle of nowhere. My friend was alone at camp, when a heli lands near the camp the guy gets out with all silenced gear and ghilli suit, and one shots my friend. He doesn't take anything from our well stocked tents, just kills our friend and takes off. My friend did have all SD gear.
  5. I don't want it to be a Zombie Survival Game. I want it to be a Zombie Survival Simulator.
  6. I only shoot if I am spotted and feel threatened. Even if I see someone with good gear, I keep them under observation, and see if there is a way to avoid them. If i can't avoid them, or if they spot me, then the fighting begins. The most i'm willing to help strangers is to shoot zeds off of them from a distance, or throw a smoke grenade to get the zeds off of them. If they want me to get close, forget it. I usually play with my buddies, and those are the only people is trust 100%.
  7. Here is my constructive suggestion for the day. Stop trying to force morality into the game. Even if morality was forced in the game, the only consequences to morality are socially constructed. When there is no police or government, there are no consequences. Most moral consequences that aren't part of social constructs are religious, and I don't think people are worried about going to hell in game. (Debug forest maybe). I suppose another consequence of acting "immoral" would be that everyone hates you and doesn't want to help you, which as a bandit is already the case. You shoot at people, people start to shoot back. What this game needs is Amoral solutions that benefit all players no matter what their "moral preference" is. Mechanics that make the game interesting and fair for everyone is what we need.
