Sry, but many many people, who play DayZ, don't have suuch a great PC. (i also don't have the best system on earth, so i turn shadows and postprocessing down) And because of that, they turn several options down, because otherwise, their GPU/CPU couldn't handle the game at stable FPS. Shadows are both, CPU and GPu intensive, as far as i know... But instead of forcing people to buy themselves things to climb up to "your level", you could also think a bit, be social and lower your standards, and turn down shadows, post processing and clouds :)

look at ma siggy ;) i already got the legholster covered. and PLEASE. when mentioning "lgeholster", do NOT forget to link Mad Max to it. One does not simply say "leg holster" without mentioning Mad Max. Mad Max legholster for the sawn off shotgun. Belt-holster like clinty has. also a "rain"-poncho. chris torchia already told me, that they are discussing about legholsters, and how hard it is to implement those. Here is the madmax-holster:

and every shot with the shotgun is a sure kill under 20-40m. shotguns are civilian weapons, so they are much more common than M4/Mosin. and trust me, i've found the mosins in the big hospitals on the 2nd floor and in the top level of schools and on the roof-tower of the schools.

just put the backpack in your backpack, so you receive a backpackbackpack, which you can hold in your hands

YES ;) chris torchia told on twitter, that the next patch will bring the ruger 10-22 (=hunting rifle) -
i have to say, that i'm quite happy with the loot-chances for shotguns, TBH. Maybe lower it by 15-25%, but that's it. shotguns are quite civilian guns, i think, and therefore more common, than M4 and/or Mosin. So for every Mosin and M4, there should be 1-2 shotguns (maybe) Also i didn't find any compensator, only 2 mosins and 4-5 spraycans all in all since the last patch, so i don't think, they're "thaat" common as you say (at least for me)

A good looking "outfit" is: reminds me of leatherjacket, leatherpants (aka chaps) and shotgun on the back + chest holster with revolver => either civilian "army", "sheriff" or bandit. if you need someone with a shotgun&revolver, tell me. i always got a shotgun and revolver. most of the time 2 additional sawn off shotguns, so i can give 1 shotty to a fresh-spawned^^ -

I'm also for coats, such as Rorschach wears in "Watchmen", or dusters. and please tell me, that with "cowboy"-hats you don't mean these: I'd like to have these: also a poncho, as far as "raincoats" are. sry for big picures, but i dunno how to "spoiler" just click at my siggy, i also got some suggestions covered in there, with a legholster, too

Tip for your shotgunfriend: DO NO† USE THE SNAP-LOADERS! just load the shells manually, than even the best armoured guy should die within 1-2 shots.
