Blaser is a german manufacturer, as far as I know :s So it can appear in eastern europe. And yup, not high-end-sniperrifles, please. More old fashioned, trusty weapons, which are more likely to appear in an apocalypse scenario. And that's, where the Winchester 1895 comes into play :> (Best transition ever made, i know :) )

Bwaa, no source, sadly, sorry man. but the SVD is on the way (was seen in a video about DayZ "HQ" in the backround on a screen. Dean confirmed it afterwards) While i don't want to see DayZ turning into a Snipersimulator with a long respawn-time, i like to see more weapons. Moar wepaons, and make each individually more rare, so that you can find guns, however, finding the right/desired one is hard(er) at ~6:20 on the very left screen. Could be an SVD. or here bow and arrow and here an AS val probably

Yeah, i would really love to see a lever-action-rile in DayZ. Maybe also able to saw it of :D And since the W1895 seems to fit the best, it would be cool, if it will be implemented.

:D But you got the point with less consumption of water and food, yes. Definitively an upgrade then walking. Because Horses can go anywhere, where you can walk, and even further (through heavy bushes, mud, swim). Houses excluded, ofc. xD

You ever sat on a horse? :D Ridden for more than 3 hours? If you have never ridden a horse before/often enough (and I assume, most of the people haven't), your muscles will ache like shit. Upper legs, arms, back. You can't walk straight ;)

Sure, why not? Lemme saw off your FNX. Nah man, sawing off makes the gun shorter overall and increases "spread" (more or less). Which is better to use in close quarter fights. My opinion is: Shorter guns in close quarters are easier to handle, point and turn around. Sawn off shotgun is faster to handle (in cqc), than a Tac-50, for example an example. It doesn't really get the point across i want to make, but:Shorter weapon = easier and faster to move. (@ least i think this way ;) ) Ah, OK, i thought he meant the company, which made the Mosins xD I'm glad i could hit your hobby ;) Must be a model 94 then?
