That was my opinion, because only made bad experiences with masked people, soo..^^ (and when people wear masks, they don't want other players to see their face. some kind of psychological thingy. But when it comes to Payday2-masks, I have a nervous triggerfinger ;) )

masks are just... just.... TBH, as soon as I see someone wearing a mask, he is either a "squealer", aka a young guy who wants to be cool, or a "bandit". Either way and I try to kill him. P.S. For me, a "bandit" is someone, who takes the time, and paciently sets up a trap for players, holds them up, and either robs some stuff, or makes them take his pants off and run away.

bipods? you mean bipod for the Mosin? it got removed, and the DEVs did this intentionally. They want to make the Mosin more of a beginner-med-long-range bolt-action-rifle, not THE go-to-sniperrifle. (Also the DEVs want to decrease and limit the long-range-Kill-On-Sight, which is made veery easy with a bipodded Mosin with LRS + comp. Btw, the Mosin is still pretty accurate alone, and with Comp. even better. I, personally, am just waiting for the lever-action-rifle. Got mah tent up inna woods, store the AKM, some Cowboy-clothes and lots of .357 in it and travel arounc Chernarus, pretending to be Clint Eastwood in a Zombie-Apocalypse and shit.

I got a blood-transfusuion like 1 month after I started playing. Played happily for 3 more minutes, then died. Since that, I stay away from these things :D Saline-bags are safer, even if their boost is lower than the bloods' boost. -
Well, the one or other may have recognized, that I quite like the B95. But it isn't that good actually. It holds 2 rounds, needs 2 rounds to kill and has no attachments/customization parts. The Mosin also often needs 2 hits do drop someone, but it got the bipod, comp. and LRS. do not forget the cool colour, too ;) So it's worse in every way, but many like it. Because it looks ossum and I don't do this suggestion just because I like that rifle, but because of more attachments overall Basically, I will bring the ideas from the reddit-page to the forums. First of all: Long Range Scope The Blaser B95 can attach a scope: This wouldn't mess up the balance of rifles, since the B95 only holds 2 rounds and is also less accurate then the Mosin. => the "true" sniper-camper will still go for the Mosin+bipod+comp+LRS-combo. And since the B95 is only a little more accurate then the SKS, it should receive a small buff dispersion-wise (not that big, though). Additionally then the LRS could function as a substitute for binoculars. There is already a scope in the gamefiles called "hunting_scope_12x". So it could be possible, that there is already a scope on the way. Different parts: The gun itself can be taken apart pretty easily without any tools (Stock/Receiver + underbarrel-thingy + barrel itself) Nearly the same story as with the M4: The gun should be found like now, but things could become damaged over time due to use, attack, damage taken, etc. It could be fixed with a weapon-kit. But if this isn't around, a replacement barrel or stock could do the job. Different barrels give different options: There are different barrels for the B95 in reallife. Different barrels in-game could mean different "firemodes": 2x Rifleshots or 1x Rifle and 1xShotgtun Stock pouch: Overall I think these should be more common and fit most of the weapons (IZH-shotgun, Mosin, SKS and B95). Could work as holding ammo (5-7 rounds) and shortening the reload a bit (10-15% maybe?), but also preventing from going to the inventory, dragging the ammo on the gun and then clicking ;) I know, it has been suggested, but I want to bring it up again: Using objects as a workaround for bipods: -selfmade Shooting sticks [1] [2] Thread of Katana67 with more info about it: click - i.e. cut off trees, these mossy walls, backpacks, etc. It would make the firearm more accurate and reduce the sway. (The gun itself then could be fixed in a 45° or 60° angle, which would be a disadvantage =>Bipod is still better, because you're more free to move/aim) Maybe the stock-pouch and the disassembling are a but unrealistic to be added, but I could imagine seeing the LRS/Scope in the game and maybe later the bipod-thingy, too. EDIT: There are some new optics in the gamefiles: "hunting_scope_12x" Maybe a 4x-12x Hunting scope for the hunting rifle, the B95? :> This is actually a bit logical. "PSO1": I guess, the PSO will be for the SVDScope (aimpoint maybe?) for the XBow >link 1 >link 2and just a large pic with stuff: Maybe tracksuit and pcu5-jacket belong together..? You shouldn't have said "quick draw" ;) I think the current draw-times are fine. As well as for pistols and rifles. However, you should always be able to move (=walk, run & sprint) while doing so. Stopping, just to get the Axe off the back is a bit un-handy and weird, IMO ^^ but your idea of giving the holster an advantage is quite good, since it actually gives the Holster a use.

AFAIK, it is working, but it is bugged, because your steaks go from raw to burnt almost immediately, so there's not a good chance of getting them out, during the "cooked"-phase

Take care of your Mossin. Clean it from time to time, so it doesn' get mossy. oorrr: Is the "Mossin" a restaurant /bar/hostel? the "Moss Inn"? Sorry, but I just had to ;)

I am not wanting to increase the DAMAGE of the .357 fired by a Winchester. I just want a higher velocity! With a higher velocity (and therefore slightly higher dmg) the Rossi 92 WILL NOT BE a long-range-sniper-hurr-durr-rifle! It is still more inaccurate than the Mosin. The Mosin still has a LRS, while the R92 has Ironsights. The R92's .357 (even with higher velocity and therefore dmg) will not be as strong and as fast as the Mosin-rounds. ==> Sniper-wannabes will still use the Mosin for long-range. TBH, I see almost NO problems with increasing the velocity of the R92-fired.357-rounds. They still have ~30-40% less speed than 7.62. They still do much less damage than a 7.62. The R92 is more incaccurate than the Mosin...

Hm. When the shotgun came out, we also had the speed-loader-problem. There was a difference between individually loaded shells, and speed-loader-loaded shells. The speed-loader-loaded shells had ~25% less velocity, I think. This resulted in a noticeably lower damage. Sometimes the shotgun one-hit-killed Zeds, sometimes not. I think this is an indicator, that velocity also determines damage ;)

Nah, Dude :D Maybe I expressed it a bit wrong, but I never wanted "rifle" range for the R92. It should be a more medium-ranged "revolver", if you know what I mean.

Yeah. I know I know. But the barrel is still longer than the revolver's. As you said "and ballistics should reflect that." longer barrel => more acc + higher velocity ==> higher velocity = "more damage" in the game, maybe?

Nah, the velocity matters :D Because using the Repeater on usual carbine-ranges can be difficult then. On 200-300m the travel-time is ~ 0.55 - 0.833s. (For 500m it takes 1.388s. 500m is not very realistic, though) For example the Mosin takes 0.34s for 300m, and 0.5s for 500m. While I don't want to see the Repeater on the same velocity-level like the Mosin, it still definitevely needs to be tweaked here and there

Magnum often only takes 2-3 Yep. That's why I'm wondering about the repeater and the revolver. Has the repeater already adjusted velocity (and therefore impact and damage), or not?

Nah, I different handguns do different "damage". If your post would be true, the Amphibia S would only need 1-2 bullets to kill (like the Magnum does), which is not true. Different types of ammo do different types of damage. If you take a look in the gamefiles, for example. But I'm a bit "worried"/mad, because the Repeater does the same "damage" as the Magnum, even though the barrel is like 2-3x as long, which increases the velocity (and therefore the impact(=damage)).

Maybe also connecting a tarp with some rope on trees/branches. (poorly advertising my own thread, I know ;) But your video just reminds me of bushcraft-shelters http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/211270-tarps-shelters/ ) But I dunno if it's possible to "interact" in such a way with the server. On the other hand, we can already cut down trees, use the pickaxe to obtain stones, etc....
