Winchester 1895 would do the job pretty well. They were sold to the UdSSR in early 1900, AFAIK. Use the same ammo as Mosin. Could be sawn off without damaging the magazine.

didn't they script all the things new for DayZ SA? Anyways, yes. Also the nade-launcher is in the gamefiles (since the start of DayZ SA ), but it won't make it into the game likely, according to Chris T. there are different teams. One team designs weapons, one team fixes, one team works on X, the other teams worx on Y. and they even said, not long ago, that they got some new people, who are only working on zombie-wall-issues or light-beam-bugs, dunno which. But DAYUM. 12x-Scope. 12x for a crossbow. As if there was no "bullet"/-bolt-drop (0.o) X-bow fires @ 100m/s, bow @ 30.. TBH, I dislike the idea of LMGs for the biggest part. Because (for me) it looks, like a PKM is pretty accurate while being prone... It's fully-automatic, too. Same with the M249... (maybe not thaat accurate). So in order to prevent these Rambo-kiddos from ramboing 24/7, ammo should be harder to find, so that every shot counts. (M4-ammo is too easy to find @ the moment, I think, too)

Ghilliesuits? Lolnope. However, I understand: people want them. So why not make craftable? Burlap sack(s) + Rope + Glue/Ducttape + Green Spraypaint + Black Spraypaint + Leaves. Over time it should get "damaged", i.e. loose the colour/leaves, so you have to "fix" it with paint, leaves and duct tape. However: Was suggested MANY times... Traps were also suggested many times. Hand made ones, as well as bear-traps, booby-traps with rope+nade, etc. Bases will come. And vehicles (bikes) are surely on the way. I bet within 3-5 months from nao on ;) in a zombie-apo I wouldn't build a "ghillie-suit" as it now is. I'd gather old clothes, kill 1-2 Zeds, and take their guts and hang them all over the old clothes, etc. Then wear these on top of the actual clothes/backpack. xD
