Don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I feel that avoiding Z is way more difficult and random than in the mod. They apparently see you through walls and going prone is no good anymore...What to do?? I like the fact that there are no more tree-exploit to lose them though.

Don't get me wrong, I love the Z aspect of the game since the mod. What I said is I find it anoying ,ot being able to lose or avoid the zombies. I loved having to loot a town being 100% prone. But now, it's much more random.

Bump, cause annoying. Just spawned frsh because I lost my character and I can't lose the agro or avoir the Zs. This is a bit boring.

Yeah, I mean I have no problem outrunning them or killing them if I got an axe, but what I would like is avoid them, being discreet and not agroing.

I find it already more focused and polished than the mod in term of gameplay. It's harder, more survival-centered, less loot-deathmatch. I'm just waiting for my quad, my tent, and my DMR. Also hunting, I need my pig BBQ. -
It depends on the situation. If I go face to face with a dude armed to the teeth with his gun raised I'll probably panic-shoot. And die, as I can't aim for shit. If I see you coming I'll try to communicate, leave you alone, or kill you, depending on the situation and your actions.

First of all hello DayZ world. Secondly, I don't think it's a bug. The first thing I do when I spawn is go to a pond or a water pump and drink till it says "I feel full". Then I know that I'm good to go for an hour. It's just the thirst and hunger system.
