Honestly aslong as the pc version doesnt suffer due to the console version i couldnt give 2 shits. However if the pc version is dumbed down to shit and limited due to having to work on consoles aswell il go nuts, cover myself in my own shit and stab someone with my pink steel.

Honestly people stating western guns are only in to please the Americans are silly... Dayz carries on from arma 2 campaign... NATO was in cherno... Sorry guys sure make the NATO weapons and ammo rarer than the eastern block weapons and ammo but they need to be in due to this fact.

Don't get attached to your items. When you realize it only takes 30 mins to get the gear you had back you don't worry as much and have much more fun. Also take pleasure in the fact if you are shot, 9/10 the shooter wont get any of your stuff as it all be ruined by one bullet to center mass.

Anyone elses legs breaking when going up above ground level? Noticed it first after i was shot at NWAF. All was fine, killed the guy and ran up stairs, climbed ladder to roof and legs broke for no reason as i ran over it, no shots etc... figured it was lag/desync from the prior firefight, splinted myself up and moved on, ran up the stairs in the jail buildings and then it happened again, fixed myself again and ran to cover and logged off. This a new/old hack or a new bug? Have not played in a while so im unsure.

I have a mosin with LRS + Compensator + Bipod on in stable but i wont be playing that until this faggy hack where people can steal your shit is over. Or until the next char wipe at least :D

As per usual Gews hits the nail on the head when it comes to the weaponry side of the game. Keep up the good work Gews mate, hopefully the devs listen to you and things you have posted in multiple threads are added, either soon or towards the end of the development stage!

DayZ is using a reworked version of the RV3 engine. So reworked i think its far to call it RV 3.5 by now and if not now its worthy of the RV 3.5 title when they replace the render system. Arma 3 was also in development at the same time as dayZ SA. More than likely why the dayZ SA does not use the RV4 engine. Zoombies was closed down because it was basically a copy and paste of the arma 2 mod into arma 3. Breaking point is a zombie mod on the arma 3 engine and it is doing fine. I'm not a fanboy or alpha screamer etc.. but if your going to try and act like a smart arse at least get your facts straight instead of just sprouting dribble.

I will be playing the next few experimental builds after the last dev blog as im looking forward to seeing the new navigation system the bratislava team has come up with, looks promising too. If thats worked out its then time for them to make zombies a force to avoid so we can chain knockout punch spam 6+ of them while screaming the standard "Yeah get down bitch! YEAH URGH!" -

That is down to personal skill again, the arrow will still fly where you aim it, not decide that it wants to fly off in a random direction. Although using a bow an arrow as an example is not the best of arguments as you will now more than likely say the wind can blow it. Inexperience with firearms can be portrayed by as already stated in this thread more weapon sway, less control over recoil etc... Im honestly hoping the current weapon implementation is broken, and the that all guns have the accuracy of either badly damaged or ruined weapons and is something that will be worked on in future development as it is currently what has forced me to stop playing dayz SA and move to the mod/breaking point as currently after exploring the map the only thing left to do is kill people and firefights in dayz SA are currently trash due to poor "dispersion". Either way we will all have to wait and see how the devs decide to implement gunplay when the physics SDK is fully and correctly functioning. -
Zoombies is no longer up due to the whole dayz licence etc... However try breaking point, its in a much better state than dayz SA is in at the moment thus more enjoyable.

As far as i know being able to use a stove could be in the works, i mean they are going to implement things being used for storage like fridges etc... so makes sense you could fit a gas can to stove and cook away. Sitting/interacting with the world around us would be great for immersion imo, Spray painting would be great although not sure how hard this would be to do, i know it has been mentioned that tattoos etc... may be added Ive said this from the first time i played dayz, the ability to break a window and climb through it would be awesome to have. Making locks and locking doors i imagine comes under the whole "barricading" houses/structures that has been said will be in the game so yeah hope this makes it in. -

Well the tac shirts have got the U.S flag on the arm anyway so i don't see why we wont be getting more western camos in the future. Also i think i may have an orgasm when i get a AKM with 75 round drum... now if only we had bullet penetration on houses... (dont seem to atm tested with a friend with the mosin im currently using.) Would be fun to mow down the side of a house that someone thinks they are safe in :D (hopefully it wont be as broken as the m4 currently is.) -
I hate to be the "its alpha guy" but it is... Of course it is not perfect. Zombies are also not that hard to kill lmao they have also had their ability to make you bleed reduced. Nothing in SA is final and everything is subject to change, You where warned on steam several times not to buy this game if you where exepcting a bug free game and you also click a button stating "i understand" that is located under a paragraph of text that explains to you that this is early alpha and that there will be bugs/broken things and stuff will change. After the steam warnings you cant spend your money and then go on to talk as if you've been conned and cheated out of money.

Modding can only benefit a game in the long run to be honest. I seem to remember reading/hearing rocket say the dev team would leave things like as one example, the group system to modders, while this would not be to everyones taste, some people out there would welcome a group system with open arms. Say this mod was made, if you like it you download it and play on a server that has it enabled, you dont like it? Dont download it and dont play on a server with it enabled - simple. If the state of the final product is actually what we are all hoping for there may be no need for things such as dayz SA epoch etc... Two of the things im looking forward to seeing from modders are the new maps that will undoubtedly be created and also possibly the new menu skins, saw a few concepts on reddit recently and i must admit they look nice.
