I think it's ok how it is right now. I don't have that much ammo for my L85A2 AWS and my M4A3 CCO. Currently ammo shouldn't be a problem, if you log out and relog, the whole magazine is back. So you just have to logout before the half magazine is empty and u'll get a full one again. It's not like I'm doing this, but it would be easy to never run out of ammo in that way. Hihi (:

Good luck at finding some guns or even a hatchet. If your new its pretty hard to get well geared in short time. Just keep an eye open for military tents and all other enterable buildings. Even a Lee Enfield is enough for the beginning. (:

But you could use a tag in front of your names, that you can identify each other. Like [TBB], as mine is.

1. You can't equip the knife. Just the hatchet, right click it and "remove from toolbelt". 2. With the Morph-autoinjector you can heal a broken bone. Hope I could help (:

Hi Guys, I installed the latest Beta Patch (.417) and started my Arma Operation Arrowhead as usual with steam -> Launch as combined operations with the start-settings "-beta=Expansion\beta;ca;Expansion\beta\Expansion -mod=@DayZ". But every time I reach the main menu the version at the bottom right is "1.62.95248 DayZ 1.7.2.4". I never played it without steam but now I can't join the servers. If i start the "Launch Beta Exe" in my main installation directory, it works fine with 1.62.95417. My brother and I are both playing from the same computer so the Launch Beta Exe isnt a option because in that way we both have the same char. Otherwise if we could start it seperated with our steam accounts it would work. I need help, please! :(

If you're not a guy, which buyed Arma 2 OA just for DayZ, you should know the map without a real map *giggle*. (: We're survivors, and we have to find maps or just use your senses to survive and navigate. A external map is a No Go for me.

How can some people die of starvation? I always carry 3 food and 3 drinks in my backpack and even 2 more in my "main"-inventory. That's not really that hard, guys. (:

The only way to get a second character is to buy another CD-Key or make another acc in steam and buy it again. (:

That would be funny. Three coyote packs in a coyote pack, all full with items. And maybe you could pack a backpack into the backpack which is in the backpack. And all over again, like you could pack a backpack in the already into the backpacked backpack packed and place it in the backpack in that one. Hahaha (:
