Completely restarted it and it did not work

I got into a game, and everything was normal except for the fact that it was a bit laggy. I then went to the graphics settings and put the game on low, and now the game will not function properly. The mouse cursor won't move and it is giant (about 20 times the normal size) and it will not let me put graphics back to normal via the keyboard. Everything is extremely blurry and I can barely make out text on the menu screen.

I might be in, sounds like fun

Someone told him how to avoid getting stream sniped :(

I think I forgot to post here afterwards but these guys are great. Goose and 2 others healed me up with a saline bag.

Ya, I am seeing a lot of these issues posted on the bug reports page. I hope they can fix it soon.

Yup, happening for me again too. It seems like the world is static and all I can do is move my player and view menus. Can't interact with environment. When I go to pick up an item though, sometimes it appears when I log out then log on to a different server (Not server hopping just trying to find a server that works)

Anyone know what it could be?

I might help guard if I can fix my lag problem. I am geared up with guns.

I am joining the lowest ping servers I can, some under 40, and I still can't do anything but move around. This is stopping me from playing the game at all so it is a really serious problem. My internet seems to be at it's normal speed and I am joining gameservers.com and MPGS.com servers.

I am however looking to learn, and that is why I needed to ask the community for help. Everyone needs to start somewhere, right?

Sorry, but I am not even close to being a tech expert, I don't know too much other than the basics, especially when it comes to game related things. I have been a console gamer until a few months ago. To be honest, I don't even know what a CCNP is lol.

Ya it is just all of the sudden for me. I have played Dayz for a few weeks before without any lag issues.
