So I just finished reading the latest status report and was really happy to hear we finally have a helo on the horizon. However I do have some questions, and suggestions! #1, The first thing I noticed is the crane on the side. Will this be functional? Because I really really want it to be. I'd really like to be able to drop in, and pick up people without having to land. Even if it's just a rappelling line for quick dismounting. #2 Is there a spotlight underneath the nose, so we can light up a small village from the air, look/hunt for people at night, and land the helo at night. #3 Is the controller support, and behavior going to be the same as, or similar to take on helicopters? #4 Are there thoughts about weaponry attached to the helo, or the ability to use it as a sniper/rifleman platform? #5 Can you satisfy my eternal wish for an optional attachment of speakers so I can play die walkure as the people in the rear spread death and mayhem? #6 Speaking of attaching stuff I wouldn't mind the following; Getting just the barebones helo Having to choose between a crane/rappelle/speaker/gunt mount, with the ability to pick per side. So you can have a gun on the left and a crane on the right. Rear passengers being able to fire their weapons if there isn't a gun mounted. Having to look for every upgrade, and perhaps even being able to craft the speaker/spot light/rappelle. Being able to paint the belly white/light blue sides and top woodland camo, or even completely pink for the adventurers amongst us. The crane specifically should be operated by someone in the rear, I'd like to be able to notice the weight of the person hanging on it. The littlebird is a very light airframe so an 80kg adult with another 30kg or so of stuff hanging on one side of the helicopter with a crane operator hanging out of the door is pretty noticeable to the pilot. It also ought to be maintence heavy and once degraded to a certain point have a non zero chance of snapping/clogging/spinning loose. To be fair I don't know what the ballistics are on this however I doubt a 5.56/7.62 can penetrate cockpit glass at 1000+yds Are we going to see ammunition, and rifle platforms that can? Rear passengers ought the be free game with the side door open obviously. Anwyays thanks for reading I really hope some of my ideas make it in eventually.
