Hi, Im 32y old looking for ppl to team up with. Not a fan of big groups, but would be nice to have somone to play with and cover each others backs. Not after anything permanent or a clan etc dont have time to be so serious :), more after ppl to hook up with and play for some hours when they and I can. I play quite safe, scouting, sneaking, stay hidden. I am a bandit and I try to kill ppl when I find them. I tend to move around in the northern regions of the map. And I play on Chernarus and official hive servers. If you play on other maps/private hive servers that you know are good etc I can join in them also but havent played any of the new maps yet (have been away during the fall) And I live in EU so EU timezone players are prefered if youre not an American playing all night ;). skype: stimpen2 steam: stimpen2

Was playing on Chernarus. Went to NW airfield and one of the two northern hangars was just ruble and the buildings close by. I crawled up to it but then suddenly I broke my legs and got knocked out and began to bleed. Came out of uncunsioness and patched myself up and ran into the forrest. Ate some and thought it was some buggy shit I didnt see in the ground or something I had crawled over and injured myself on or it was something weird in the area when a whole hangar had exploded, never seen that before. Then it happened again and this time I died. I disconnected as fast as possible, tried another server but I were still dead and lost all my gear :(. Were I killed by a hacker or what happened? Saw some youtube video where they mentioned something about a hack where you break your legs etc if you come close to the hacker?

Sorry I dont remember the server :(, and it is like bfisher said that if you get killed legitimate and lose your stuff you may get annoyed but its a part of the game and you have to accept it. But if you lose your stuff that you have played hours to get by getting killed by a hacker or some stupid bug in the game that you dont have any chance to void then its not so easy to accept and you get angry.

Hi, Havent played this game for 4months and I see there are new maps now. I have only played at cheranus and what happens if I join a server with another map? Can I server jump between servers with different maps and spawn at the last location I had at that particualar map?

The new maps are they only runned on private hives? I searched for Namalsk or what its called and only 2 servers came up in dayz commander as official and I wonder if they are official at all?

Havent played this game for 4 months. Played earlier today with all my old gear. Found a jeep with a IR-MARK STROBE or something that I picked up because I thought it maybe was a new thing in the game. After that I found alot of vehicles I did not recognize and thought this must be hacked stuff and I dropped the IR-MARKER after I searched for it on the forum and here was nothing about it. Now I joined a server that said somehting DAYZAustria(KLL) 200vechicle+survivor startinggear or something. Now I started fresh on the beach day 0 with no gear. Immidietly I dosconnected and tried another server but still day 0 and all my stuff is gone.... Why did my stuff dissapear? Because I picked up a potential hacked item or was it that server named 200vehicle+survivor startergear that did something to me? Thought this buggy shit with stuff dissapereng would have been corrected now after such a long time...

But if I have played on chernarus and join a Lingor server will I start with all the stuff I had on Chernarus or I start at day 0 at that map while my Charnarus character remains on the chernarus map?

YES! I found an official hive server and all my stuff is still there!!! Why do they have private hive servers? Can imagine if you are some pro guys just playing on one server. But if you are noob and joins and dont remember the server all your stuff is gone if you connect to another server.

How do I know if a server is official hive? So if I connect to a official hive server my stuff will be back? I guess the private hive servers does not save my gear to the official hive? Then the first server I was on where I found the IR-MARKER must have been a official hive server because I had all my old stuff on that one? And the other 2 servers I tested after must have been private hive servers then?

I have lost and regain weapons in my backpack. Latest this day I accidentally lost my dmr. It was my own fault I temporarly put it on a zombie corps and the corpse despawned lol. Then I put my main weapon mk 48 in the backpack instead to pick up a bizon. I played quite long (went through NW airfiled) and I think I logged out and in at one instance. When the ammo was out for the bizon I was going to switch for the mk 48 again. Now it was gone from the backpack and replaced by the dmr I had lost a long time ago! Really annoying because I really liked the mk 48. I was hurt from the NW airfiled and shoot a lamb and went to the woods to cook the meat. Then I realize that my hatchet was missing also!!! Flashback to the patch when the hatchet become a weapon and the hatchet and the main weapon dissapered. This was just the most recent backpack problem Ive had. I think exept patch problems that erased my weapons about 4 times I have maybe lost weapons three times from inventory. And lost and regain stuff a couple of times also.

think rare guns are quite hard to get. I feel they have become harder to get or ppl loot the barracks more these days? Before you could find a nice weapon with a good sight after visiting NW a couple of times. nodays I dont find shit in NW barracks. have been running around NW for about a week now searching for something good but nothing... i really like the m16 acog and before 1.7 I found it twice in a couple of days. now i havent seen it for 2 weeks. and there was often a sniper rifle or some other good weapons I dont needed. Nowdays there is only shotguns and akm...

Lol reminded me of my first kill. Was in NW airfield in the northern barracks. I was a bit outside in the trees and heard someone drink. I was noob then and was unsure if I really had heard somone drink or what it was. I looked in the windows and there was a survivor looking out the opposite window towards the airstrip. I went behind the wall again and was like "what should I do? what should I do?" Then I looked in again and now the survivor turned around and faced me and I just shoot in panic through the window and then ran away with zombies after me lol. Didnt return to loot his body or anything was just scared and shaken lol. Didnt realise until a couple of minutes that I got a kill in the debug window. Was unsure you could shoot through the windows because I hadent manage to shoot zombies through the glassdorrs at the supermarkets before.

i only have 4gb of ram so putting all the .pbo in the ramdrive is impossible. but i thougt if i maybe dedicate 1gb of ram to ramdisk and puts dayz there and then the most used .pbo when playing dayz could improve the game? but how to know which .pbos that is most used when playing dayz? this loading lag does it have something do do with the zombies not dying immidietly when you shoot them? like the death animation have to load from hd before they die?

Just wonder why so many spots on the screen is covered up? Just that I have seen a couple of other vids where the same areas is covered why is that?

Short answer yes. When I/we play' date=' I usually start recording when we get in a situation that might become an interesting video. And in those situation I switch to English, because (even though our English is kind of... limited?) it's easier than subtitling the whole thing. With that said, I did have a good time subtitling this yesterday. At a couple of places I did take some creative license which I guess you'll only notice if you speak Swedish :) Would you prefer it completely in Swedish with subs, completely in English or as it is? Just wonder why do you speak english when you are swedes? If you played with an english talking person I would understand but why when both of you are swedish? Is it because of you are putting the video on youtube?

Can zombies hurt you inside vehicles? is there a diffrens between open vehicles like dirt bike, atv and closed vechicles like car, jeep etc? can zombies damage the vehicle?
