    Color-blind friendly GUI icons

Red/green colorblindness is somewhat common in males actually, I don't see a reason why this couldn't be in.

    The Ban TS3 thread!

OP is apparently a veteran of the Korean War, even though the full-scale war has been over for about 59 years.
  3. Well, Publik you seem like a good guy. Just make your own topic on the forum since I'm sure VictorM practically steered most serious people interested in this away. Also, Victor you keep saying your in the military like it means something, no one really cares. If you have so many real life commitments, then why the hell did you make this in the first place?

Also, the sniper looks fine until you get to the rifle and his hands. Looks really out of place there.

    Friendly in Cherno Graphic

What? I'm giving him constructive criticism, I'm telling him what I think is wrong with it so he can do better. I don't think if whether or not I can do better is relevant to this. youre being a douche >:I Because telling him what I think he could do better is me being a douche.
  6. I don't think you're even getting your own point.

    Best priorities when starting?

Compass isn't relevant considering you can easily find out what direction your going by simply knowing what time it is in-game and by looking at the sun, and at night it's even simpler if you know how to find the north star. Frankly, I suggest looking for food/drink that you can stow around in case you need it, a better gun, and possibly a better backpack if you're lucky.

    Melee Weapon Petition

Dude, listen. Those melee addons are absolutely TERRIBLE, and they aren't the kind of fluid melee you'd expect in a normal game. They consist of an animation that you have to do while standing still, that is very buggy and doesn't work sometimes. It'd be pretty impractical for a game like DayZ, where you'd have to stop for a long time to knock a zombie over.

Not that great, everything seems titled and it's a bit disorienting.
  11. Firstly, I've seen this suggested multiple times, use the search bar next time before you suggest something that has been discussed to death. Secondly, this still won't discourage playing a bandit people will still play it and kill people if they want to. We don't even have to discourage banditry, it's apart of the game. If you're suggesting that only insane people would not have any ill effect from killing innocent people, then you could argue the only people who would survive an apocalypse like this would be people who are extremely lucky, and sociopaths because they'll be able to do tough things to survive without any emotional effect.

    Melee Weapon Petition

Melee could be implemented, i've seen a bayonet type weapon implemented in a WWII Arma mod. Although if it was implemented, you guys realized it would be limited to having to stop, have an animation run, then a script plays. If there was melee, it sure as hell wouldn't be fluid.

    The Ban TS3 thread!

With your logic, using forums to meet up with people is also metagaming. Because you couldn't just go on an internet forum in the middle of the apocalypse in russia. Do you expect us to work together exclusively in direct chat, when rocket isn't even planning on adding in radios until future versions?

    How much would you pay?

I'd be willing to pay up to $30 on release, since I'm not going to have a physical copy of it and it is a modification of an existing game.
  15. MAYBE/NO Don't know, still seems sort of gamey to me. I think you should figure out yourself whether someone is trustworthy.
  16. *Gasp* But isn't that metagaming! Quick Victor, save us from such terrible metagaming!
  17. YES If we make the game harder, then it'll make it so the game doesn't look as attractive to the kind of people who treat it like a deathmatch. If you know it's going to suck ass to respawn again without a gun, then you'll be a lot more careful and not start random firefights with people.

    THE FLOOD IS COMMING

Rocket isn't the game developer we want, he's the game developer we need.
  19. Good to see you're handling this well, I can see you really enjoy dissuading any serious player from actually wanting to do this.

Petition for a New Type of Zombie

Nope, this isn't Left 4 Dead or Half-Life.

    New map completly.

The map is fine as it is, it takes enough time to get somewhere so it doesn't feel like you get there in five minutes. If you want a lot of pvp, go to the coast. If you want to survive and get good gear, you head out of the coast. If everything was small, it'd literally be one giant pvp fuckfest.
  22. See, this is what happens if you don't have good leadership. The thread has already gone to shit, and the chances of this happening are pretty damn low.
  23. This is a terrible idea, Rocket clearly wants the game to focus more on realism than gameplay. If we had it so it was hard for you to get killed, it would literally just be an average first person shooter game but on a big map. Also, it's very easy to know where you're going even if you don't have a compass/map. Memorize a map, or travel around a lot. If you can't tell what direction you're going by looking at the sun, or even at night the stars, then you're not very good at navigating.

    Sniper stakeout

You mean on a hillside right next to a town near some bushes?
