I somewhat agree, but there should be some kind of feature that if you log out or disconnect near a campfire then the timer is gone and you instantly disconnect. -

Suggestions like these would completely remove the suspense when you see another survivor. Where you have to decide whether to go up and talk to them, shoot them, or just leave them alone and hope they don't notice you. -

Wouldn't it be great if a suggestion for non-lethal weapons didn't get suggested multiple times every day? Use the search bar, and you'll see many people have suggested this many, many times.

That's fine. They would always be missing a skill that some other would have. No Jack of All Trades.... Yes, but eventually most people would be the kind of guy who is just better at shooting people. You can't change the mentality of an entire community unless you heavily punish the playstyle, which most people obviously don't want. -
When that error message pops up, you can just continue playing it doesn't affect anything.

Well, there's already plenty of sources you could get a surrender animation from. Plenty of Arma mods have it.

It's not even that hard to spot, you can see a somewhat blurry figure moving up the stairs then shooting him.

This game isn't really supposed to be "Balanced", the game is supposed to be heavily unbalanced for the human side. It's not THAT hard to find a weapon in the first place, usually after looting for a good twenty or so minutes I find something decent. -
Announcing your presence and to kill or not to kill

I tend to never shoot on sight, unless I know that player is a bandit. Usually though, I just ignore other people and try to avoid them by being as stealthy as I possibly can. Occasionally if I see a player without a weapon, I'll go up to him and offer some supplies if I'm in a good mood. -
If by pain, you mean extremely useful for both bandits in survivors to kill targets from a long range then sure. By your logic, let's remove any automatic weapons from the game, they aren't used for killing zombies often and are a pain to go up against.

Good idea (That is always being suggested.), the only problem I could see is possible server lag with a lot of people building stuff.

Well it depends on what range you're shooting from honestly, the DMR has an effective range of about 500 meters (Or something along the lines of that). While the CZ only has an effect range of 300, if you're trying to shoot anyone further away than that you're not gonna do much damage.
