I jinxed myself. Logged out next to tent, logged back in again after maintenance and obviously tent has vanished. Took me two hours to find that and had a spare sks and pistol in it. Don't think I'll bother getting another one until things are a bit more stable.

Beautiful kitty, but whats with that bike saddle? You can't ride a bike with a saddle at that angle, your friend will do themselves a mischief. Riding that you'd always be pushing yourself back up to stop yourself sliding off.

I always understood a rag and stick was used by very overweight people to clean their nether regions. Hardly realistic DayZ that you can make a fire place out of it.

Actually this is a good thread as I've never really bothered reading up on servers and the mechanics of servers. Currently I'm on a low pop server which I like as the ping is always pretty good. It belongs to a large gaming clan and advertizes 3 hour restarts. I'm been logging in and out of the game on this same server for close to 8 hours and yet nothing has been "restarted" the loot remains the same. It isn't a persistent server. So do servers have to be manually restarted or is it automatic when the host decides to set a time? First time I've noticed this on any server as I usually keep to using a couple.

Maybe a job for CCSD? CCSD Agents. Time to investigate random explosions at Gas Stations. As I'm close by I'll take a look at the two on the road from Krasnostav through Dubrovka onto Polana. Yeah and those guys who fought in the Border wars with the Welsh and Scots as you say trained from quite a young age, day in day out and if I remember correctly the skeletons of the archers had a very distinct curvature of the spine and they would have been massive men. TBH honest I've not seen any handmade wooden recurves. We have wooden recurves but they are for beginners and No one at my club uses them max 25lb. So I could be wrong. The is a guy that makes longbows but I've never been around when he has although he does sell them. I've not seen many male archers go over a 55lb draw. I was 45 with my Sebastian Flute and looking at moving up. I'm no expert, just an occasional archer, (hampered by a sh*tty shoulder injury mostly over the last couple of years and the couple of times I do shot it's with the wife's SF 30lb atm). I'm guessing that for target shooting you just don't need a draw over 55 and as you'll be shooting many more times it would be a disadvantage to have such a huge weight. It's just what I've seen and most of the guys I know don't hunt but even bringing down a boar or a bear surely 60lbs would be more than sufficient, anything else would be overkill? It's very intersting to hear about your bows please if you've got any pics - please share.

Hey Aussie - I struggle to find anything over 20 on Aussie/NZ servers the times I play. It is a pain in the arse as sometimes you can go hours without seeing anyone.

Totally cliched when it comes to zombie games, but the "Spiked baseball bat" The baseball bat with nail driven through it. Spiked cricket bat too? As said by Kimo Samuri swords sound good to me as well.

Dipped my toe back in to DayZ a few couple of months ago after a break. Didn't really take to it. To change this I finally killed off my geared toon that I actually had started hating playing because of the amount of great gear I had collected. Back to being a bambie and I'm loving it. Heard possible gunfire in a town that sounded like someone doing little farts? Which gun would that be? Also got the "you are dead" screen in a factory high up. I'm assuming I was taken out by a sniper even though I never heard the shot. Or did I just fall off the building? Can't believe I actually helped someone out by killing the zombie chasing him and giving him bandages, cans of food and a screwdriver. Must have mellowed in my old age. I'm assuming to get ride of the wet sympotms you need to build a fire as changing clothing doesn't really see to fix it? thanks in advance.

Getting a tad bored of logging out, going off to do something else and logging in to find myself being hit by a zombie. As I said on the Balota thread I ran all they way from the airfield to the hill way above Kamenka killed those I thought were following me logged off for a bit. Logging back in I had the sh*t kicked out of me by a soldier Z that had started following me from Balota. I thought I'd shook him off at around Komorovo. When I logged off there was no Z's around me as I always check before logging off. Today I logged out near a town, went and did some cleaning up and logged back in to find I was being hit 3 times before I had finished logging in again and could hit the Z back. The only solution I can see is logging onto a different server when returning to the game as I'm obviously been targeted before logging out and not knowing it and have no way of knowing it. I'm not stupid I don't log off in the middle of Berizino or inside some military barracks - I log off in places I think are safe. Pain in the arse. Damaged clothes and broken limbs.
