Ah, I was too derp to think about that. At least with the blood transfusion thing, people will be forced to interact and help out others, yeah? Or googling, but yeah. Having a really complicated medical system can come off as a huge turn off when it comes to the more casual players though.(not that I'm not supportive of it)

Best thing is to just hit the respawn and try to go back to where you were. I think the only bug involved is the fact that zeds can walk through walls.

It's very subtle I guess. Possibly infection might cause screen blurring and colour desaturation. Maybe check the wiki? I think you can group up with others on this site. Helps a lot. :)

I found zombies in there. But nothing useful :\

You can risk it at the military camps near Balota and run up to the NWAF too. Cherno tends to be rather risky until you at least get a fire-axe and a gun.

Best thing to do is to wait till the next update gets pushed out imo. Doesn't seem all that safe to possibly lose all your items due to low blood + confrontation.

Changelog As far as I know, blood transfusion and eating do help gain back blood. But it doesn't really go back to normal as it should. Maybe it's a little buggy? After the blood transfusion my character had, he didn't get back any blood.

DayZ is a game that forces players to learn through dying over and over again (unless you're hella natural). I've never played the mod honestly, but I pretty much adapted nicely to it with the scavenging and whatnot. I bought this game for the challenge it brings -- the feeling of having to watch your back, doubt everything and do what you must to survive. What's the point of getting the nerfed version of it. DayZ is meant to be tough and gritty. It's the kind of game where it teaches you how to swim by throwing you straight into the sea. But yes. Maps are great.

I'm lingering about east of Cherno. Hopefully getting more food supplies after the patch.

Be sure to check the changelog because they're updating everyday -- don't want to miss out on info that may be life-saving. :)

Also general rule is to steer clear of Elektro, Cherno and Sorby (is that the name? It's the one a little below the NW airfield) until you're well equipped. Also water pumps are mighty useful since I don't think you can get infections from the water you obtain there.

I don't think you can take blood from yourself. You need someone else to administer it for you. As for the other 2, I've not have a use of them yet so I can't help you :\

I'm not actually sure but there was this one time my friend knocked me out while attacking a zombie, and it took approximately 2 minutes or so before I regained consciousness. However, for some weird reason I was sliding across the ground while prone and had to relog. I guess it depends on fitness and how you got injured?
