this forum seriously needs a 'dislike' button. I was not aware of any such glitch.

and imagine all the "crashes" because people pulled the power cord from their modem/computer. You know as well as I do that people would do it.

just remember that the hardcore character will be 1st person only.

no worries.. just select a "hardcore" server on the server page and you will spawn a brand new spawn on the beach. The game will then save both characters and when you swap between regular and hardcore servers, it will load the appropiate character... even if it's not the character on your main screen

I can only imagine how many people will be complaining about "crashes" for the next week.... and when it's a legitimate crash.. small price to pay to stop ghosters and loggers

you can already do it. one character on regular and one on hardcore

i've been playing since before christmas and yet to die from a glitch, had plenty, broken my legs but always survived, Also never had a character wipe. *touch wood*

I like the Island idea, i have been thinking it myself. When they add vehicles, It could also help explain why we can't just Drive/fly north into the "debug plains" looking for safety or a way out? -
I try to be friendly and regularly pair up with other players but as soon as they mention "friends"... bail.

not sure if you ever played WoW? they managed it without any dramas. if you tried to log, you got a "cannot log out whilse in combat message". The only way to logout was to put distance between each other then wait 2 minutes (i think) without any obvious activity

...and a 20 sec logout timer/animation so you know when someone is doing it in front of you but you havent fired yet.

Why? when i put on a raincoat, poncho or my dryz'n'bone there are all 3/4 or full length. I hate having wet pants. -

I am wondering if anyone knows if ruined supplies are any good or not in build 114008? Can't find anything using search. Morphine injectors? Painkillers? Antibiotics? Charcoal Tabs? Alcohol Tincture? Epi Pens? I know you can still use ruined bandages..
