An option for hardcore servers. Always on direct chat. Many players use ts/steam to communicate with each other in game. This isn't going to change and makes playing with friends more enjoyable. An option to have direct always on means that if you are speaking other players may hear you - no more communication via esp ;) This would eliminate players communicating outside of the dayz world. If you speak - anyone in range should be able to hear you. Apologies if this has been suggested. Didn't find anything in search.

Rocket had stated that he likes elements of project zomboid. Maybe they will be used to introduce back story or learn skills.

That's fine. The idea is that if you are speaking on ts and I'm in vicinity I should be able to hear your as well. Currently players can plan ambushes while standing in front of you. If you turn off your mic won't be able to speak to anyone (ts or in game)

Logging=cheating. Man-up. Dying is a big part of dayz. Only way you get better at it.

Dangerous zombies will add a third variable to encounters. Not just you vs that guy. You vs THEM vs/with (? ) that guy. Makes pvp more intense and more risky. I've died in the mod lots after winning a firefight, but then died dealing with a dozen zombies on me!

Does logging out remove the cuffs? Haven't been cuffed yet - just wondering

Maybe this can be done after the many more important dev efforts are done. This one has bugged me since the mod. Street sign & town names are all in Russian (Czech?), but the map lists them in English. I would hope that future editions of the map are in Russian. It would at least make it possible to match a street sign to a map. Also having the map get ruined like everything else - holes, getting wet & torn - just another layer of difficultly.

So you gonna spend your time in game: 1. Find abandoned house 2. Grow drug crops 3. Create drug lab to cook/make drugs 4. Defend compound from drug addled players and zombies ...interesting...

On the wish list. 1. Ability to have character jump up, grab a wall and pull themselves up and over it. Seems only logical that if the wall is low enough our characters should be able to get over them. 2. (with rope) Ability to climb up a tree. This could open up possibilities for escaping zombies and being funny seeing a player stuck up a tree surrounded by zombies! Also our sniper friends may find this tactic useful as well.

I like everthing in the OP with one small change: Make the Thermo Binoculars not binoculars. So you can have thermo imaging (like night vision) but without the zoom capability and zombies should show up as well. - might help balance them out.

Flying Helis in the mod was good fun. If they are added, I just hope that they make fuel quite difficult to find. Having a heli that can easily be filled and flow around that map to find all the vehicles/camps is too OP imo.
