Me and my group got hold of two walkie-talkies, and yes, others can hear you talking into the radio as if you were talking in direct, and replies on the radio will also be heard as if in direct. Range seems to be around 3 kilometers. -

I think the OP assumes that this will be fixed, and the zombie aggro system be tweaked to work nicely. The way fresh spawns will survive is to avoid upsetting the zombies (press z to hit the dirt, or just walk carefully) Altough I think newspawns should run a lot faster than someone kitted out. Really, a filled hiking backpack is really heavy, and if you add combat vests, weapons, a huge fire axe... -
Maybe we can have a probability that, if landing a hit, the zed throws itself at you, latches itself to you, and bites your throat out. (That way you will not at all worry as much about bleeding)

Binoculars should not be rare in my opinion. And worn around the neck, yes. NVG? They are going to fix nighttime. Please, let us not break it again...

I agree with the above post here. I don't think that you should be able to, for example, satrt out with a set or gloves, glasses, or anything like that. The only thing that should be customizable is things that you can't change in game, such as your face, hair colour, etc... If we get a ´´character update´´ I too hope we will have some kind of dynamic appearance change system, with things such as growing beards, player faces in different moods depending on the condition of the player (sick, stuffed, hungry, ok, healthy etc) -
Gee comrade poster, I think he wants to watch the sunrise. Maybe because, you know, we are alpha testers and should test stuff, and experience stuff so that we properly can give input to the benefit of this game's development.

Old DayZ mod used to have rotting mass graves and soldier corpses which hadn't even started rotting yet... (Actually I think there are mass graves in SA too, by some bus wreck I remember seeing) So surely, the apocalypse can't be that distant? Also, as someone said, fruit. -

I don't think you have a valid argument to back up that claim then... :) Really, I'm all for an improved weather system, and more story-ish stuf flike wrecks, leftovers that maybe tries to tell some kind of story, something like that. But no colour filters or anything like that. I think someone in another thread suggets large bomb craters. That is not a good idea, IMO. -

Comrades! I have returned after an investigation. The interest in this thread has gone up by more than 10000 times, and is now like 0,001%. It will be interedting to see for how long mooky can educate the community in the enlightened survivor ways before the barbaric forumites inevitably will backlash and stop following the light. -

I don't understand in which way this is immersion breaking or ´´unrealistic´´ or whatever, since apparently color loss is a typical symptom of heavy bloodloss (I luckily have not experienced this myself) -

While I am not a KOS'er, sometimes you simply get into a position where you pretty much have no option but to shoot. Imagine what would happen if a group of 5 spots a man lying in the grass 50 meters away with a carbine pointing at them... then you're better off trying to fire a warning shot before they spot you. (Also there's something that makes me giggle about french combat loggers, I am so stupid)

No, it's not. It doesn't help at all. Solution to problem; Implement the system from Arma 3 where things with lower light level than the human eye can pick up does not get rendered. Also, on nights with no moonlight, I'd imagine that your eyes would dilate more so that other light sources are more easy to spot, while on brighter nights it would be easier to spot people walking around in the dark, but it would be harder to pick up actual light sources form far away. I am not sure how this works right now.
