This isn't a place you go to vent your anger after you die, and lets be honest if you dye in this game to another player then A. You need to learn how to avoid places where people like this typically are. or B. You need to learn how to kill them first. If you want to play all "I'm a pacifist zombie apocalypse survivor" then play with friends you trust, stay away from high pop areas or only interact with people who don't have weapons ( although some freshies seem to have this impulse to try and fist fight anyone they see). If you lost your character due to server issues please check the bug and glitches section because you can be 100% that your not the only one, no we don't care how much it sucks. And lastly..... EVERYONE dies at one point or another, yes it sucks but that what makes trying to survive worth while... if it wasn't a risk every time you walked into the open, or went into an airfield then whats the point. If you play the game without the feeling that your always being looked at threw a scope then honestly your missing the concept here... It shouldn't matter how people "want" to play the game, it should matter how people "have" to play the game. Your goal is to survive, the way you do it should depend on your circumstances, whether that means people are shooting at your or you just ate your last can of beans and your hungry. People who say this games isn't a death match are wrong in my opinion, it most certainly is, just not the type your most people are accustom too. Every moment you play your constantly battling with death at every corner. Either from a zombie, a player, a fall or your own physiological needs. Every moment you manage to not let death lure you into its depths is the reason you play this game. In the end you WILL die and you WILL feel bad about it but that should only drive you to GET BACK UP and start anew, with more experience, with the knowledge of how to improve yourself, and better hon your abilities. Yes I kill on sight, When I see someone with something I want, or need. Yes I help people who in a worse situation then me. I play the hero when I can but I'm not afrad to play the bandit if I need to.

That sounds like the greatest gun fight ever! I once had a moment like this (not so awesome but still pretty awesome). This stuff is what makes the game fun for me. I love the fact that even if your fully decked out with m4's and mil gear you can still get taken out by someone with there plan old fists. It adds a level of realism that just makes the game great. Good Hunting sir you have my beans!

I had just recently made a trip to the north eastern airfield which with much regret I had to kill 3 people because they committed one of the worst offences in my book, server hopping, but thanks to that I was pretty much entirely deck out from head to toe. As I was making my way threw Barenzino, on my way to Elektro, I suddenly spot a fellow explorer he had an m4 on him so like any one else I was cautious of him but I DID NOT kill him on sight for that's just rude. I worked my way up to him and turns out he was a friendly. He didn't have any m4 ammo but it turns out he was a traveling book seller. He told me that all his life he wanted to be a book seller and when the apocalypse happened he was determined not to let that stop him. So I offered him a deal, I'll give him a magazine fully loaded and he'll give me a book to keep me company threw the long nights. He accepted, then dropped his bag so that I may search it and take the book that I fancied and leave a mag. He was such a nice fellow that I left him a magazine and extra ammo! As we said our goodbyes we turned and ran opposite directions, with no deaths or shots fired from either of us. Later on I met a fresh spawn and gave him a can opener and a canteen but not shortly after I was met with death after trying to avenge a new spawn that was killed by 3 fully geared bandits. I managed to kill all of them but then was killed my self from a 4th unseen bandit probably part of that group. Sorry for the long post but the moral of this story is, Dayz can have action, for example I was in a 1v3 gun fight and came out on top but it can also have more rewarding experiences like knowing you helped someone (in my case 2 people) who will now like playing dayz even more and will probably play the game for at lease a bit longer as well as knowing you punished (in my case 3 ) players for cheating (yes, server hopping is cheating) and will now think twice before doing it again or at least take more care when they do it.

Fireman's axe and 2 full canteens!

Hello, sorry if this is a repost but I couldn't find this anywhere else. Im having trouble reloading my pistol the FNX45. I have 45.ACP ammo but when ever I try it doesnt let me chamber it. I don't know if the game requires me to have a magazine to load the ammo into but for now I'v really tried everything. By the way... compared to the other airfields the north east is ALWAYS full of loot and has nice scores even if it doesn't have many buildings. Thanks to anyone who can help me out.
